Today is 3/31/19. I was at the drive through today at about 4:50pm and I was completely ignored, even after the girls working there saw me through the window along with all the other cars and continued to ignore taking my order. After waiting a full 10 minutes I pulled up to the window and honked my horn a couple times, and was still ignored and refused service. By this time there were about 5 aggravated cars in line behind me, some people even left the line. FINALLY someone came to the window, and told me the drive through was apparently closed and spoke to me like an idiot for not knowing that. Even though this was during normal business hours and there weren't ANY signs posted anywhere stating that the drive through was closed. Next I decided to go in and order and I told all the other cars that were in line that the drive through was closed and everyone was very upset that we were all ignored for so long. When I finally went in to place my order, I asked about why everyone in the drive through was deliberately ignored for so long, all three employees were extremely rude and angered about why I would ask this question and instead of apologizing for the inconvenience, they all made excuses about how they were on break and how someone took down the "closed" signs. They all had attitudes inside, ignored and wouldn't speak to me, and gave me dirty looks after I placed my order and walked out. The other people who came inside after waiting so long in the drive through said they would be making complaints as well. The 3 employees working there were 2 african american girls, and 1 white girl with curly hair. I didn't get their names and they wouldn't have told me because none of them would speak to me after I questioned them about why the drive through customers were ignored, instead they made unprofessional excuses and rude belittling remarks! The owner of this franchise should immediately fire the 3 employees girls working during this incident. Again, it was roughly 4:50pm on Sunday March 31st, 2019. Because of this incident, this Dunkin Donuts location lost a lot of business because all the emplyees #1 Didn't post a sign that the drive through was closed #2 they failed to tell the drive through clients through the window or speaker that they were closed and instead purposely ignored everyone and #3 didn't take ANY responsibility or apologize for ignoring the drive through customer but instead acted rude and ignorant. I come to this location a lot and I'm really disappointed about the service I and so many other customers didn't receive. I would like to speak with the district manager about the horrible service I and so many other customers received. Whoever reads this review please respond with a phone number that I can call and speak with some sort of customer service...
Read moreI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service at Dunkin Donuts Store #310288, located on 8900 N. Military Trl, West Palm Beach, FL, 33410, during my recent drive-through visit.
At approximately 10:15 AM, I placed an order for two maple bacon, one hot green tea with five creamers and six sugars, and a mint tea with the same condiments. The clerk asked me to repeat my order, which I did. At the pick-up window, a staff member, who was a young, heavyset black female with a bonnet on her head, informed me they were out of mint tea. I had no problem with this, asking her to replace it with green tea instead.
As a frequent customer with enough reward points (800) on my account, I redeemed my points to get a breakfast sandwich. However, I noticed that the total amount due did not decrease after the clerk scanned my rewards code. She scanned the code twice more but maintained that the code had already been used. Another staff member, also a young black female with cornrows in her hair, confirmed this in a loud voice.
At this point, I asked to speak to a manager. The staff member started making inappropriate comments about me wanting to use my reward points. Despite hearing these comments, I maintained that as a frequent Dunkin' customer, I value my rewards because I earn them by spending money at the store.
The situation escalated when the clerk who initially took my order repeated what I said to the worker with cornrows. This led to the worker threatening me with physical violence. Additionally, she along with another staff member resorted to name-calling using derogatory slurs based on their implied racial prejudice. My husband was so taken aback by their unprofessionalism that he asked for our money back.
Upon returning to the store to speak to a manager, I was met with further disappointment. An Arabic clerk was hesitant to call the manager, and another worker, who was either of Indian or Latino descent, informed me that the manager was not present. When I asked for the store number and the corporate contact details, they claimed they did not know it.
I deeply regret this unfortunate incident and believe that a company as esteemed as Dunkin Donuts should take necessary measures to avoid such inappropriate and unprofessional behavior...
Read moreThis location has gone down markedly in service. I've been going here for over 10 years and while it is always busy, the staff has always been friendly and you could see them working hard to get orders out. Now, from being yelled at for speaking too loudly into the speaker in the drive thru (seriously), to it looking like it is perpetually understaffed, to standing this past Friday morning for over 5 minutes at the counter while the ONE cashier filled orders for on-line customers and kept the folks in line waiting (as one guy put tip money into a paper bag and another women came to the cashier station, but made no eye-contact, did something, then walked away), things are bad. Even when it is not busy it now takes forever to get an order filled. One customer in a bustling location won't make a difference, I realize. But I will be looking for alternatives from now on. I know the other DD's in the area are owned by the same group. I hope the problems at this location are not systemic of ownership, but rather, the location. Cause if it's ownership, I'm going to have to learn to...
