I recently visited this store on a trip to west palm. I was SO excited to visit this store as I am an avid lilly fan. My expectations and excitement were quickly shattered. We entered the store without so much as a greeting or a glance. We have it a few minutes, and still nothing. Neither of the two girls greeted us or even acknowledged our presence. We continued to shop and I had a few hundred dollars worth of merchandise in hand. In our 45minutes in the store, we were never once asked if we needed help with sizing or prints... or just help in general. I had to nearly beg to use the fitting room. They seemed disgusted. There was also a bar that multiple other customers were offered a drink, but while I was shopping, my husband was never offered a drink.... just another wealthy looking man was offered and his wife. He jokingly asked “what does it take to get a drink.” After we felt like we were unwanted, we put our items back and left with nothing. Waste of a day trip to...
Read moreBeing big Lily fans my wife and daughters insisted on a trip over to the Lily Store at the Breakers in West Palm. Charming store but small. The lady there suggested going to the Worth Ave store to truly see all the new styles. She was also excited that there is a bar there too. So off we went. It was missing a few items that we would have bought at the Breakers store. I hung by the bar in hopes I would be offered some wine or juice or even water. Nothing. No hospitality. So my three ladies made their purchases and after shopping there for an hour off we went. A little disappointed. Hopefully they will love all that we bought though. Also very frustrating that with all these women in the store there is no bathroom to use? Really? Had to walk blocks to Starbucks and then return to shop. My wife and two daughters were all dressed in Lily upon arrival but a very wealthy looking older lady was offered a bathroom “upstairs “. Guess we did not meet...
Read moreI rarely write negative reviews, but my recent visit to the Lilly Pulitzer store in Palm Beach was truly disappointing. The staff was shockingly rude and dismissive, even though the store was not busy, which made it feel intentional. The environment itself was uncomfortable and poorly maintained: the air conditioning was broken, making it unbearably hot, and there was even a leak dripping from the ceiling. The store looked messy and neglected, which is not at all what you’d expect from such an iconic location.
I had really hoped to love this store, especially given the history of Lilly Pulitzer in Palm Beach and the opportunity to design a custom dress here. Unfortunately, the experience was such a disaster that I would recommend avoiding this location altogether.
Instead, I strongly suggest visiting the Palm Beach Gardens store, it’s spacious, updated, and staffed with people who are genuinely friendly...
