IHOP — Restaurant in Palm Coast

Even though the quality of the food at IHOP has changed. I still patronize because my son enjoys it. But the service today has solidified my decision not to return... I had a server named Joyce, who started off very pleasant. I assumed she was super busy. She came to the table with my creamers..in my coffee cup and dump them in front of me. Was not in an organized bowl like the rest of the tables around me. Also. My son's hot chocolate cup was filled 3/4 of the way. The coffee and hot chocolate is 3 bucks a pop. The cups are very small anyway. When I addressed the creamer situation. I was told she was out of bowls. But several tables around me who came in after me got creamers in a bowl. I also addressed the hot chocolate not being a full cup. And I was told it was. But I in fact have pictures if need be. After addressing both issues... in a respectable fashion. Ms Joyce seemed disconnected from wanting to service us..i also like to mention..me and my son were the only patrons in eyes view of color.. I eat out commercially once a week...it sucks that my visit was not up to the standard I'm accustomed to from this location...I don't know how far this review will go. But it really should be addressed. I don't often times leave reviews. But I felt inclined to do one today. My bill was no less than anyone else being served. And I don't appreciate...

This IHOP location is very on and off with service and food. We didn't have to wait long when we got here which should of been a red flag when it's 11am and all the surrounding breakfast/lunch places were packed and had long waits to even get a seat. When they walked us to our seats non of the tables were cleaned and hadn't even had the food removed from the tables in that general area. They cleaned our table and forgot silverware. They took our order and still didn't receive any silverware. When our food arrived we had to request for silverware two more times which is ridiculous at this point. My wife and kids food was what they requested but I asked for over medium eggs and received scrambled, I also got probably the smallest portion of ham I have seen on a sampler. We probably saw our server two times and had other servers come by who honestly didn't seem to want to be bothered. When we were leaving they just started cleaning the table behind us that had been covered with food since we had sat down and could here other tables complaining about their orders being wrong. This is gonna be the last time we come here for awhile. Pros: Hot food Hot coffee Cons: Dining area a mess Poor service Poor...

We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. One chocolate shake, one strawberry shake, one lemonade. Lemonade came ASAP, chocolate shake 5 minutes later and then we were told that they only have 1 shake machine so our strawberry shake would be delayed. It arrived 10 minutes later. We ordered our food and while waiting I opened the napkin with the silverware only to find a dirty, crusty knife. Our food took 45 minutes to come because as the server said, “something happened in the kitchen” and they had to restart the order. One order was a burger with onion rings (they were cold and soggy), the other 2 orders were burgers with fries. The fries were delivered 10 minutes after the burgers. At this point I couldn’t eat because I was totally turned off. The manager said he would take one item off the bill, but I had to give the burger back to them. I have never in my life been so disappointed by such rudeness, filth and terrible service. I will be sure to let all friends/acquaintances know of this so they don’t go to this new establishment.

P.S. They had more servers than I ever saw who were walking around looking lost and confused. Also, there were flies all around. YUCK!!
