I went there today to get hot food that I usually do, however today, the lady in the restaurant section was not nice. She asked me what I want, I pointed the dish I wanted but seems she can’t get it. I was standing at the side, she pointed me to stand in the front of the counter but still not getting what i was pointing since i don’t know how to say it in spanish. Another customer holding a baby interpreted in Spanish for me, she got it but in a grumpy way. It’s a pork feet but she said beef feet and said $7.99 per pound. I didn’t argue because she’s grumpy. Then the other customer was ordering, she’s a Spanish speaking, I heard they are arguing. When the lady went inside to weight my order, the customer interpreted to me the arguments they had. She said “She’s not good… she told me that she is a witch and that’s how she is.” The customer walked away to report her to the manager. When I was at the counter to pay, I saw the sticker price for my order was $18, I told the cashier, that’s a mistake because it’s only pork feet😳. He went to the kitchen and verified it for me. Few minutes later, the grumpy woman with another senior staff came and apologized to me, she changed the price to $6.99 and told me in English “Sorry, I am having a bad day. This place is usually staffed with friendly people, sometimes cannot speak English...

Watch out for item with Expired dates, seem that Employees do not pay attention on restocking items. I really do not enjoy my first , second and last impression. I saw items expired, back in the fronzen refrigerator once you open the door will see dead bugs, hairs attached to the frame of the door inside, ceiling leaking water, no signs of wet floor, floors dripped with blood from "fresh meat" i saw some stickers been replace new and the old one underneath. Disgusting, thats it not Safe. "Fresh" root vegetable with mold, and bugs flies. Hot food is a joke, i ask for a simple empanada, the lady told me i was not ready. That doent take long to fry. She was not in a mood of making any empanadas, the container was empty before lunch. Working on kitchens and seem to not care enogh for ready to eat food to be (READY)

This supermarket has lots of spanish items that are hard to find in the area. The cooked lunch food is always very good. The only problem I have found is that the female serverS are not very friendly and always in a rush to serve you and get out, you almost have to order the first thing you see before the body language kicks in and makes you feel uncomfortable ordering your lunch. Overall the other staff besides the servers are always a pleasure to speak with. Hopefully this message gets to the kitchen staff and allow for the customer's to be able to enjoy their lunch. This is a common things done almost everyday not just todays visit. I really enjoy having lunch at this establishment Hopefully things will change and allow me and others that feel the same way return and do more...
