What started out as a promising evening: nice patio, good selection of beer, and televisions took a nose dive quickly. Their menu selection is very small for food: they have 4 different burgers, 3 types of tacos, 3 sandwiches, and appetizers so it’s not great for dinner. Their beer selection is good but they mostly cater to IPAs and wheats and not many pilsners or lagers and they average $7 a glass. Considering you can get the same beers for $2 less a glass down the road, there isn’t a whole lot to differentiate itself from the competition. The service was also abysmal: we sat with the beer menu for 10 minutes before we had someone take our order, then it was another 15 minutes before we got our beers, and another 15 minutes before they took our food order. What should have been a 30-45 minute meal and beer was easily over 90 minutes before we got out of there. Would go down to the Brown Dog next time instead.

Good place for some late night wings and beer. Late night menu is more limited (according to local friend) to mostly pizza and wings. All we needed were wings though, and it was good! We had the boom boom sauce and the hot Nashville dry rub - definitely get the hot Nashville! Boom boom was ok, but kinda mayonaisy. They don’t come with carrots and celery by default. We asked if it came with, and they said sure, and then charged us for celery. No carrots. But, they were very fresh. Server was nice, but a little pushy. There’s a fine line between being pushy and helpful, and I felt more like the latter, though i would say it was more like 60-40 than 100 blown out pushy. I kept on feeling bad for ordering just wings and not getting a third glass of beer or sides.

I visited The Brass Tap for their spooky cocktail menu and was disappointed with the start of our experience. Our first drinks (Black Magic) were delivered by a server and the glasses were noticeably not full. I even mentioned it as they were set down, but the server didn’t acknowledge my comment and walked away. When our actual waiter later checked on us, I brought it up and he said he would “see what he could do.” He came back with another martini, but it tasted mostly like juice. At that point I decided not to say anything else. The second round of martinis we ordered came out properly and were delicious, but for the price of the drinks, the quality and service should have been consistent from the start.

I have been to the Brass Tap here in Palm Coast twice, and both experiences have been less than sub par. Last month, I attended plant bingo, which was a blast and I loved the event, however, service was painfully slow. The waitress skipped over our table multiple times and it seemed like she was maybe struggling because of the volune of people out on the patio that night. With plant bingo moving as quickly as it did, I decided that tonight when I attended plant bingo I would show up early so I had time to eat my food before the game got started. I picked the same table I was at last month at 6 and waited, and waited, and waited some more.

My first friend joined me around 6:05, I still hadn't been greeted or brought menus. I figued maybe they were busy inside and gave it some more time. The patio was just me and 2 other tables with 2 or 3 people... not busy at that point. My next friend showed up around 6:17 and we still hadnt been greeted or brought menus. By 6:30 the patio had started filling up for bingo and we still hadn't had anyone come to our table. About 6:40 one of my friends goes into the bar to order drinks and my other friend was able to flag one of the waitresses down for menus, to which we were told "she will be with you soon." The ladies at the table in front of us and behind us were taken menus and drinks fairly quickly upon their arrivals. The same waitress who said the other one would be with us soon, brought us menus and again told us the other server would be with us. My friend at the bar told the bartender what was going on and could overhear the two servers discussing the situation. One of the servers told the other we had requested someone else- which was impossible since noone even came and checked on us until we were able to grab the one waitresses attention.

Around 7 someone finally comes and takes our order. We order food and drinks. My friend ordered fried pickles. About 20 minutes later after myself and the other ladies at the table get their food, she asked the waitress about her pickles to which the waitress told us they were out. Why wasn't that disclosed at the begining when she ordered them or even a few minutes after?

Overall, both of my experiences at Brass Tap have me not wanting to come back. Plant Bingo is such a fun time, it's a shame that the service of the establishment could harm the company that hosts plant bingo.

Drinks were good, food was fine, service...

Excellent food, excellent service. Misleading, or inaccurate, wording on daily specials. Poor judgement by on duty manager. Sunday special: Hospitality night; 20 % off beer, wine, and spirits. My husband and I were in a local hotel on vacation and called a Chinese restaurant for delivery-- but they were closed on Sunday.--we had seen the Brass Tap as we turned into the hotel; so we 'googled' their menu and daily specials. We saw The 'Sunday' special was 20% off beer, wine, and spirits. My husband drinks beer, and I drink wine! --perfect! We arrived and ordered; the waitress said: no I don't think -20% off applies to the wine, only the beer; but I will check ... she went to check with the manager, and I said to my husband: "I will check on my phone" ... when the waitress returned she said: "I'm sorry the Manager said the 20% off is only on beer unless you can find it on the website"... I said: "yes, I am looking it up right now"-- and of course I found the website and I found the 'Sunday special' and I showed it to the waitress ... The waitress told me her manager had explained to her that 'hospitality' means 'hospitality staff' at local hotels and other restaurants. My husband ordered a second beer with his chicken salad and I ordered one glass of wine with my salad. The waitress kindly returned and asked if I would like another wine; of course I said "no"... The waitress brought us the bill... I had hopes the manager would see fit to right the wrong in the wording on the web ... but no; my husband's beer was 20% off, and my wine was full Price. Of course I do not blame the server, and I only slightly blame the manager; she was doing her job to maintain what she thought would be good 'profit margin' for the company--however, I'm hoping that somebody in marketing and promotion reads this and understands that a second glass of wine at a 20% discount would have netted the company a lot more profit than one glass...

If I could give no star for my dining experience I would. My server (Brianna) was pretty well nonexistent did the drop and go method. When I ordered my food I was very specific of the temperature I wanted my burger and low and behold it came out well done. My server didn't come to check so I ended up having to walk my meal inside and ask for it to be taken off the bill and ordered just a side of tater tots. Asked for them to be put in a box to go since I wouldn't be able to eat with my family. Tater tots came out overcooked , when the server came with boxes I asked her for the manager. Victoria the manager came out and was rude and argumentative saying that they are understaffed. I showed her the tots that were over cooked and asked for them to be removed from my bill at which I was told they had already been. She seemed bothered by me asking for another bill before giving my card to her for payment. The manager could take a few classes on customer service and not be so argumentative when a customer was simply explaining how terrible the service was and be more understanding with customers when they complain about over or undercooked food. After this experience I won't be visiting this location again. The manager sent another young woman out with a free draft beer upon my next visit. I told her I wouldn't be back and to give it to someone else. Whole experience was absolutely horrid. Better service was given in the drive through that I had to go...
