HORRIBLE! We usually stop at this location every other weekend as we travel back and forth. This time when we received our food and i checked it as I normally do. A piece of the chicken wing was full of feathers and drenched in sauce. The young lady working at the drive thru got the manager on duty. She came to the window asking "how she could help?" I showed her the wing and stated it has feathers all over it. She responds "they're all like that, what do you want me to do about it?" I disagreed as this has never happened to us here or anywhere else. She said again "what do you want done?" I think that's pretty simple but I asked for that one piece to be replaced. She said okay, left the window, came back and stated "there's a 6 minute wait. Would you like a boneless?" We said yes and she left the window again. The young lady that was actually working drive thru came over and apologized to us. The young lady brought that boneless wing back to us, apologized again for the issue, and wished us a good day. The manager never once apologized, didn't take ownership for the problem, and was rude. I very well understand Zaxby's doesn't raise their chicken and it's distributed. However, you should check the quality of your product before it's served to customers. As a manager, I would be livid had my cook allowed this chicken to go in for cooking and sauce with the amount of feathers that were on this piece of chicken. The manager needs an attitude adjustment, material skills training, and a positive attitude at work. If you're going to be so bothered by providing customer service...STAY...
Read moreI’ve only tried Zaxbys one other time a couple of years ago and it was this location and the experience was pretty positive. We ordered inside, to go.
Today was another story… I ordered on the app which was easy…. When I picked up though, the girl at the window first gave me a bag and then 2 drinks (when I only ordered one)… as I sat there puzzling over this and checking the bag skip to confirm it eas my order, another girl came to the window and took the other drink after I explained my confusion… then I got home 15 minutes later ready to eat and realize they shorted me one egg-roll and didn’t give me a single one of the 4 sauces I ordered with my various items… and I’m not going to make another half hour round trip and leave my already cold food just to grab sauces…. In fact the food wasn’t just the normal cold from the drive home, it was dried out food that seemed like it had been laying around under heat lamps.
Btw, this was 9pm on slow a Tuesday. There were a couple of people dining in at most and not a single car in the drive through - these kids weren’t overwhelmed or something. As I drove off there were at least 4 of them hanging around the drive through window.
You can do better than this, Zaxbys.
Update - Zaxby's reputation management person responded to my review below, suggesting I go to their "listens" site to report this so they can make it right... But that's exactly what I did 6 days ago and I haven't...
Read moreWe had a great experience for our first time at Zaxby’s. We had great conversation with our order taker (who I think is also a manager) Cindy J. We are from Michigan and don’t have Zaxby’s in the state as far as we know. Cindy gave us recommendations on what she felt was most delicious, and she was spot on. She did not rush us and was not bothered by our unfamiliarity and many questions! She was genuinely happy to help us. Your cheerfulness and helpfulness really stood out for us, so thank you Cindy!!! And for the food… The signature chicken sandwich was, in my opinion, better than Chick Fil A! The fries were great, nicely seasoned. Coca Cola Freestyle is always nice to have. Our meal came out very quickly, everything was hot, tasted fresh, and plated for dine-in. We tried an array of sauces and they were all delicious. I wish we had tried them all! The cookies were a simple sweet treat for after our meal. Dining area was pretty clean and well-kept: no looming cobwebs or trash on the floor. We will be back whenever we come next to visit our parents...
