I don’t normally write reviews. However today’s altercation made me feel this is necessary. To start I love this location I go everyday around 6am after my 12hr graveyard shift in Beaumont,Ca. I drive an hour to go home and the first thing I do is stop at jack in the box for my dinner. Lately I’ve just been getting grilled chicken and sometimes a salad. If I get there early enough I am greeted with the most awesome and caring staff who honestly handle all my customization and even make great recommendations so shout out to Cruz and his team. But if I show up just a little after 6 my order normally gets handed off to the next shift and it’s not always bad but lately it’s been pretty horrible. First off the manager Margret is the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever met and I would like to go into detail. Typically my order is grilled so takes longer and I never have an issue parking and waiting sometimes I even go inside to wait so they don’t have to walk out. A week or two ago I decided to go inside and wait but the manager was upset she told me she’ll take it out to me as if she didn’t want me inside for some reason which honestly throws some red flags when they don’t want you to be present when they cook your food. I still waited took my food and thought nothing of it. Yesterday I had ordered a salad with grilled chicken instead of Julian chicken due to the better quality of meat and I always pay the upgrade with no problem. When I received my food all the chicken I order was crammed into a container and none was on my salad. I had informed the manager Margret that the chicken was supposed to be on the salad (something they always do for me) she however told me they are not allowed to put the chicken on the salad due to the chicken having the chance of wilting the lettuce. I was also given the wrong dressing. I asked for 2 ranch and she gave me 1 southwest. Simple issues with easy fixes but for the manager she decided to go off and tell me how the ticket says southwest. How is that my fault? I asked for ranch. I eventually got my ranch and went home. By the time I got home I noticed two of the chickens were still on the pink side and not edible at all. Something I was willing to forgive and just give them another try the next day. The next day came by which was today actually about 15mins ago. I order 3 pieces of the grilled chicken and I asked for them to be well done and explained my issue yesterday which is why I was asking for well done. I got to the window to pay everything was normal expecting to be parked so I can wait for my chicken but she didn’t park me instead she charged me and handed my my chicken all within 2-3mins. As she handed me my food I asked to confirm the chicken was well done her response couldn’t have been more snobby but basically saying of course it’s well done as if the question I asked was disrespectful. I take off and check the chicken before I drove all the way home and sure enough it was still lightly undercooked and no where near well done. Of course I head inside and ask them to cook it longer and showed the manager how it is indeed not well done. She goes off to explain to me how it’s because they have a timer and what not. And I just didn’t want to hear another excuse like the day prior about the salad. I pay for the meal I expect something edible by the end of my day. She got furious with me and I felt completely disrespected . I also wanted to order a drink which I forgot to order during the drive thru so I go up to order but I also felt the need to genuinely ask the manager Margret why she is so rude to me and reminded her how this is the third altercation we have had. Her response was “it’s too early in the morning for this “and to “go ahead and call corporate.” I asked her for her name but I saw her name tag so it didn’t matter but she told me she’s not going to tell me her name and took her name tag off…. Read more….continuation of last post…..If someone can please check your cameras for this incident it was all there roughly 6:45-7:00am on dec 9th 2023. She already knew I still needed to order something but refused to help me at that point and I never got to get my drink. I did give a huge shout out to the cook she was so nice and helpful no problems there and the other gentleman who is always out cleaning the entire restaurant inside and out. Little things like this go a long way. This manager tho needs someone to evaluate her walking away from me telling me to just call corporate even tho it’s a franchise location independently owned and hiding her name tag for the fact that a name goes a long way especially when you know you’re doing something sketchy. I just don’t get the best service anymore now that I’ve been showing up after 6. So this goes for anyone going to this location it’s better to go at night then early morning if you want to be treated with kindness and respect. Also don’t go inside during early morning or you will have the manager upset with you for no apparent reason. Because of these continued issues with no resolution I’m going to rate this place 1 star for the traction and weight of a bad rating and what it will do for the overall score. Read more04/2025 - UPDATE AGAIN! Everything is still cold 80% of the time. This time, I was given spicey pop corn chicken instead of regular, which could put me in the hospital. I drove back to request the correct food and a new order of Churros because they were cold, and it's DESSERT. She didn't want to give me the churros and just stared at me with a bad look on her face. Didn't even apologize. Woman, in her 40s/50s I think she's a night manager. Everything seems to go wrong under her, plus their attitude with me over Churros ... This added over an hour to my night. Oh and they still cheat the corporate timer ... They haven't fixed anything in the reviews below.
STOP cheating the corporate timer! I left a review 7 months ago about the terrible consistency and then making us wait to pull forward to cheat the corporate drive thru timer, and guess what… STILL BAD. 3/4s of the time the fries are cold and they make us wait to pull up, and we are honked at and screamed at by people behind us… this needs to stop....
