My wife and I go on a date time every so often. we decided to give Denny's another chance. we have had some bad experience's with many Denny's. First we walk in and there was a line and it was blocking the door. No Hostess no manager. we seen 5 booths cleared (probably just cleared ok but it was still a long wait till either came back to the hostess station. they took one group at a time with 3 min intervals for setting the next finally I see the manager seat I thought we were going to be seated faster nope he seated one group then it went back to just the hostess there were also waiting groups around the corner and empty tables and booths. We got seated and got our drink orders quickly. when it came to the lunch order it took very long we though they skipped us but when the food came my wife's food got taken to another table I got mine. After waiting we asked the manager and told him what happened. He went to check. He returned and said its coming right out. She got her food just after we finished my fry's. The food was good and we finished our meal. the bill came to $43. I was amazed that neither the Manager nor the wateriest comped something off our check like the drinks totaled $8 or offered a free desert. the hostess was not engaging to the customer nether was the waitress. with the price of going out sky rocketing you would think these restaurants would step up there game making the employee's work experience more enjoyable so it roles over to there working with there customers I know how hard it is for these people and management is having a harder time looking for people that want to work and put in 80 to 100% . Its getting harder for a Restaurant to make a profit in this economy there profit margin is very tight. You need to get back to the basics before you loose more customers and close down or look like...
Read moreI visited the front counter to pick up my food. Both male employees ignored me. One was seen at the register, accounting receipts. I’m not really sure if you were counting tips or why he felt the need to do this at the moment when customers were actively coming in to pick up their orders. I watched my order sit at the shelf while he continue to ignore me. I guess he didn’t wanna lose focus. The other male employee ignored me as well so then afterwards he looked up at me and he said one second ma’am and I explained to him initially when I walked in he should’ve said that to me he proceeded to get very angry and started making rude remarks lying, stating that he had originally said that to me when I walked in, there was no way he could’ve been speaking to me and not looking at me but looking at receipts, he continue to argue with me back-and-forth later on telling me to watch my mouth when I advised him that he was being extremely rude and disrespectful, and actually embarrassing me in front of the customers that he started to serve. I want him reported his mouth is just as disrespectful as his bottom roll of teeth I despise men who disrespect women in any form, especially in a setting where you should be providing a high-level of service. He was an older male with low dark hair, and the middle of his hair was thinning. I would attach a photo, but I’m...
Read moreSunday morning about 11. It was very slow (due to the Uber Eats orders) but very good. Wait time for a seat was short. Food time wait was very long but delicious once we got it. Waitress was amazing, fun and informative! Food quality has really improved over time and prices are still very reasonable. (The nachos are better than what our favorite Mexican restaurant serves!) 3/26/25 Stopped in for their delicious nachos which are better than those at any local Mexican restaurant.
There were maybe four tables seated and only one server on the floor. Juan (the Juan and only) was the man of the hour, so we knew we were all in good hands. He's friendly, outgoing, professional and knows how to work a dining room when it's busy and he's the only server. Everyone's food came out fast and hot. Every table was taken care of promptly and efficiently. He was also seating people and bussing and setting up tables without skipping a beat. I was a waiter for Hilton Hotels in Houston and Atlanta and two Country Clubs on Lake Conroe in Texas and the quality of his service is on a par with what we provided in those establishments. Juan, you rocked it! Denny's is lucky to have you!
The nachos were every bit as good as they always are, so our experience was excellent, as it usually is at...
