Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Palmdale

This is my local Chipotle I like that it has a drive through I have children so sometimes this is more convenient for me but you have to order before through the app. When I pull up to get my food the employees are nice and quick to give me my food it’s always done on time. I’ve been ordering and order quite often. The last time I ordered 5/25/24 I ordered the chicken Al pastor bowl w/ chips. I asked for the salsa on the side. They put salsa on my bowl 1. 2, They put no more than 3 pieces of chicken and mind you it’s a “limited item” so it’s like 0.20 cents more than their regular chicken. I spent $15 because I also rounded up AND tipped because I’m grateful the employees are making my food. I’m disappointed. I’ve been ordering and this had happened before, the portions for the protein are very small but didn’t want to complain this time it was not fair. I decided to make a complaint and all they offered me was free guac or queso. Im not planning on ordering any time soon so the coupon is going to expire on 06/01/24. For the price we pay the portions should atleast be a whole scoop. It’s unfair for the people that actually tip and want to feel full with protein and not...

There were 3-4 people at the front doing the orders, I used to work there so there should be 1 person to do the rice, beans and meat and the other two to help out with salsas. I told the girl in the beginning I want two bowls, she did the first bowl and then instead of doing the 2nd, she told me to wait so she can finish the first one, umm ok. That’s why there’s other people there so you can keep going with the orders. Obviously they don’t know how to manage the line correctly. And then when I get to my bowl which is the 2nd one, it’s the easiest bowl you can make, I said guacamole and they put corn instead. So when they remake it, I get less product than I got the first time. They are not hearing the customers because they want to go so fast . I’m never coming back to this chipotle, I rather drive the extra 10 mins to go to the one...

I was going to make it two stars because my family loves Chipotle! However, I have a reoccurring problem at this store in particular, and after reading so many identical complaints about small portions...I felt like sending a clear message. That message is: "IF YOU LOVE CHIPOTLE...DINE AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION", because this one is chronically cheap with the portions. Please don't take it out on the employees, they must do what they are told, or they can look for another job. The problem lies in the simple fact that the Chipotle franchises drew us in with monstrous, heaping & delicious portions the first few years that we were introduced to them. But now...everything is up but the portions. Today's visit was no exception, thanks for not much...
