Chose this place due to the high ratings already given on Google Reviews. And after eating here I give it 5 stars in all categories.
To open with we got chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crunchy and the salsa had a good flavor with some heat.
I ordered the mole chicken enchiladas, very good mole sauce. a side of Chile relleno... the cheese inside was very tasty. I also enjoy when the pepper is cooked so that it is soft and not al dente or crunchy. So, it was cooked properly in my opinion.
My husband got pork tacos... they were filled with a lot of meat. we each shared a taco and an enchilada... we loved it all.
A nice soup or salad option was served with each. I thought the soup was delicious and so did my two friends. My husband enjoyed the simple salad.
A friend got the Chimichanga which was huge and tasty. Our other friend ordered veggie fajita. They brought out a candle heater that they put the sizzling fajita pan on to keep warm. She also enjoyed her dish.

Read moreThe restaurant is fine. I remember back when it was Don Juan and it felt pretty much run the same way with kind of over priced items but you would get a lot for the value of the entrée. This location with the basic Mexican items, of which I ordered, doesn’t really provide the filling meal that I expect at these kind of places especially for a price that is situated at a premium. I’m glad the bathroom is well stocked and the location looks pretty much like it has for the last 20 to 25 years but they haven’t made the positive changes that I was hoping for in...
Read moreThis is my favorite Mexican restaurant of all. 🤗 As soon as you walk in, the staff treats you like a V.I.P. The ambience is perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner with a date, a friend, a group, or family. It is beautifully decorated in the Mexican tradition. I also enjoyed the soft background music. The servers are excellent-they are always within reach. The food is the real deal-it reminded me of the good restaurants in Mexico. La mayoria de los clientes que comen alli son de Mexico. That should tell you something! They give you HUGE portions. Everything is served hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I recommend the Enchiladas Rancheros and the green Margarita (plain). The booths are private and comfortable. They don't rush you out. You can sit for as long as you want to....
