Manantial Frozen Treats — Restaurant in Palmdale

This is based on my first and only experience. I went in with my nieces from out of town to treat them to rolled ice cream for the first time. I ordered 5 different flavors and my total was $42.00. I have seen a notice posted that bills over $100 are not accepted but $50 bills were not noted. I was told by an employee that my $50 could not be accepted and was turned away. I’m not sure why if my change would have only been $8.00 and not a large amount. I feel that is poor customer service and policies should be updated and placed where the public can easily see them so we know which form to pay in. I ended up taking them to Starbucks where my $50.00 bill was verified and happily accepted by a outgoing and friendly employee. Ok YUM!! My husband found this place through Instagram and wanted to try it. So we stopped by yesterday. The menu is a bit confusing but the girl at the counter helped me figure it out.

After we ordered, it took almost 15 minutes for them to prepare our ice cream rolls. I thought that was a long time to wait but they looked so pretty! Definitely aesthetic looking ice cream (see pics for our order).

We took it home, which was about 10 min away and none of it melted! I was surprised cause it was hot. Everything we ordered was SO tasty! I got the donut roll and would absolutely get it again. I mean who doesn’t want a donut on top of their ice cream? Genius!! Their servings are massive. So much so that I could only eat 2 rolls and put the rest in the freezer....

We peeked in this shop noticing it after we put away our stuff from the next door laundry mat. Love how the shop is decor- nice uplifting messages on some shelves.. clean location and the staff very nice. Since it was our first time there the manager I believe explained how they “roll” their ice cream and not scoop it. My daughter got the chocolate and Oreo cookie and cream rolled iced cream with whipped cream and Oreo and drizzle chocolate- she was in heaven!! Loved it.. we also got some tasty nachos and awesome Mangoniada. Pardon the spelling lol.. Anyway they also serve homemade tamales on Saturday and Sunday which we are definitely coming back to try! I believe this will be a favorite of ours to come for tasty frozen treats and great...
