Tacos El Superior — Restaurant in Palmdale

Ok okay I’ve seen the signs of this place around Palmdale- even one close to the AV college but never actually saw the truck until the other night. I was excited to try some street tacos especially from the truck like in LA or SF Valley! I mean I Love Tacos!! And you have to have some pretty awesome tacos/ salsa to please me...

Love the fact they have wide variety of meats to choose from. Prices are so-so... Fries $9! I think it’s a bit overpriced but whatever. Sodas too especially being Can soda are overpriced.

Anyway down to the eats... alright I got tacos de cabeza and my son got a carne asada burrito... Quick service which was great! 👍🏻 Oily tacos NOT so great. 😑 I mean i know tacos have some oil but this was too much! The paper soaked with it and I know it’s not the consume de la cabeza... the meat and tortillas shined! Like ta-da! So I’m like super hungry and I still take a bite...it would be good taco if it didn’t saturated so much with the oil... the green salsa is good... reminds me a bit of King Tacos green salsa when you buy their roasted chickens on weekend- do they still do that? I don’t know it’s been long time since I have to been to one... King Taco in Maywood! Hello!! Good beans there too lol... oh right anyway I took a bite of my son’s burrito- that’s was good, really good! Better than any I have taste here in AV... so not so bad there... listen i am giving this place another chance.. especially those cabeza tacos, if I get them again like that then no I won’t order those anymore... So far so good.. thanks for bringing a little Mexico and Los Ángeles Street Tacos to AV.

Today I came in to but 6 tacos, 3 asada and 3 carnitas. Upon getting home and opening the wrapped foils I noticed that I was only given 4 tacos, 2 of each meat. I called and called and called but it went straight to a machine that took no messages. So I grabbed the bag and went back. Upon getting to the restaurant again I parked and went in, iij figured it would be easier to have a face to face conversation with the worker. I went in and told the young girl what happened and she took the bag to the cook. I couldn't hear what was said but I do know how to read body and facial expressions. Once the cook was told the reason those tacos were returned she had a disgusted face. The girl came back and told me it would be about about 5 minutes because the meat had to get ready. No problem I told her and then I asked her what would they be doing with the tacos I returned because I wanted fresh cooked tacos. She took the bag back to the cook and they both laughed. At this time my phone ragged so I answered it and spoke on it for 10 minutes, after the call I went back to the counter and asked the manager about my order. You would think a manager would know what's going on in here store but she didn't cause she was too busy on the phone when I walked in, that's why my calls all went to a machine that didn't take messages cause it was full. she was having a great time laughing away on the phone. Anyway I wasted around trip, gas, time, and another 10 minutes waiting for my tacos. After everything I didnt even get an apology or a free taco for my wasted time. Horrible...

Ordered here for the first time ever last night. First had Ordered carne asada tacos, carne asada burrito, AL pastor tacos, carne asada quesadilla, and cheese quesadilla. $50 worth of food. First we got a call saying they were out of rice. Then another call 15 min later saying they were out of beans. Then a call another 15 min later saying they were out of carne asada. So right there literally 75% of our order gone. So they eneded up giving us every with al pastor. Once we got it, the bag was literally covered in grease. All the foil that each thing was wrapped in was orange and dripping grease before even opening anything. The burrito was only meat and tortilla no cheese no nothing. The tacos completely fell apart from how greasy and soggy they were. The quesadilla was like a pile of everything clumped together, you couldn't even take them apart because they were all soggy and covered in grease so it was like a pile of goo.

I have never in my life thrown away a whole entire order of food until last night. It was so bad. I had heard so many good things from people just to be 100% completely disappointed. I can't say I will ever...
