Sunrise Grill — Restaurant in Palmer

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. It was busy when we arrived but not packed. We were sat quickly, drinks were served, menus given, order taken. Table and booth seats were clean, mostly. (The table seemed like it could've been wiped down.) We then sat for a very long time without any attention, watching the rest of the tables pay their checks and leave. We were given drink refills, and then sat some more. The food finally arrived probably a good 30-40 minutes after ordering. The meals were good, but nothing special. I do give them props for fresh avocado on the California burger. My husband's combo philly was more of a french dip than a philly. A customer came to pick up a to-go order... they prepared a short stack instead of the french toast he ordered, so he had to wait while they made that. The staff was kind and offered good suggestions when asked re: ordering. It's probably a great restaurant if you live nearby, however we won't be going back. There are tons of other places that we could spend $40, 1.5 hrs of our time, and get a mediocre meal that's completely...

I can say that our waitress was very kind and friendly, but the waitress at the table behind us was very rude and so were the rest of the staff. The people behind us were a couple who ordered their food together, but only one dish came out… They made excuses saying sorry we only have one Cook and we are busy… did not even take the food off of their ticket. That would be the right thing to do. Her food came much later than her husband didn't even get their waters. They asked for. Our experience wasn't quite as bad. It was just that we weren't paid attention to. We didn't get our coffee or water for at least 15 or 20 minutes after we sit down… then our water and coffee were empty. We made another 15 or so minutes before anyone noticed… Service were bad. The food was decent. I would not go back. The people behind us were really upset and since I've never come back, their waitress for...

I have to say this place was our 4th choice. A couple restaurants we wanted were closed and so we ended up going here as a last resort…all because it gave a dennys vibe even though I’d never been. Complete underdog. The service was really quick, kind and welcoming. The food was surprisingly delicious and didn’t at all feel cheap in quality or sizing and yet I felt the prices were more affordable than surrounding breakfast joints. I had their Bisquits and gravy..super good. And the chocolate chip pancakes actually had loads of cc and were as large as the plate. I loved the diner feel with hot coffee and creamers and jellies on the table for easy access! Will definitely eat here...
