I was surprised by how much I enjoyed my experience. The gift shop is mostly local and stuff worth buying. Nice history with artifacts. The garden is beautiful. They harvested some rhubarb for me. ๐Ÿ˜ The staff was happy to talk and explain anything and everything. They have a guided 1.5 hour walking tour at 9am but you can do a self-guided tour with a headset and a map anytime you want. They give great recommendations on what to...

Mary Jane was a wealth of information. She answered our questions, showed us on the map, gave suggestions of things to do & how to get there. Very professional, friendly & kind. One of my best experiences at a visitors center. Unique items in the museum portion. Good selection of affordable post cards, gifts, etc. They feature a local artist. She made sure we saw his...

Very nice visitor center in a small town. Well kept, informative, and genuinely friendly staff. They have a number of historical displays and information sheets in cabinets. The record-breaking vegetable sculpture gives people an idea of the excellent growing conditions in the area. They also have informative on the numerous trails...

If you set your Google map navigation to 'Palmer' without any specific location, this is where the map will bring you to. The center is in the middle of the park catering for information about the city's attractions, plus different kinds of souvenirs you can buy for memories.

Very informative with plenty of interesting displays and photos of local history. The founding of Palmer in the 1930โ€™s is fascinating. Friendly staff and a great garden (giant cabbage!) to tour. We also enjoyed the handout allowing us to self tour the historic district.
