UPDATE: The only good thing about the evening was spending time with my loving husband. Last night my husband surprised me and brought me to my favorite restaurant for our Date Night.
We ordered drinks and Coconut Shrimp for appetizers. Daniela was our server. For dinner I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, my favorite fish in the world, for its buttery melt-in-your-mouth texture. My husband ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl. Our meals were served by a male server. My Chilean Sea Bass was a thin flat filet served with Broccoli and Jasmine Rice. We flagged Daniela and asked her what fish was I served, this is not the Chilean Sea Bass I’ve eaten before. She said that she will speak to the manager and took my food back to the kitchen. The manager shared with us that he’s from Pakistan and has been working there for over fifteen years. He said that customers were complaining that the Chilean Sea Bass was too small so now it gets shipped precut as opposed to the kitchen cutting the fish portions. (What a joke, if he thinks that we believe this story, he is mistaken!) He also requested the cook to prepare a thicker fish. The kitchen took a long time to prepare my meal, I was served a 1”x1”x4” cube of fish, the Broccoli was hard and not steamed, and the Jasmine Rice was hard and not seasoned like the previous one. I ended up only eating the fish, since I was starving. We ordered the Brownie and Ice Cream for dessert and tasted like processed from a box! 🤬
I am very skeptical about the fish I was served, and I am sure that both pieces were not Chilean Sea Bass!! As far as my husband’s meal, it was mostly rice and very little tuna, not like the ones he’s had before! 🤬
Disappointment is an understatement! Service was good but food was not!! This place has gone downhill. They did comp my meal, because honestly they knew that it was not Chilean Sea Bass, and on top of that they had the audacity to charge us tip based on the cost of the comp meal. Ridiculous!! 🤬 Needless to say, we will not be back. Time to say BYE BYE BYE Bonefish Grill.
For these reasons I have dropped my ratings from 5 stars to 2 stars.

We have been dining at Bonefish Grill for over ten years! This is the restaurant we frequent the most by far! We like to start with drinks and either the Bang Bang Shrimp or the Imperial Dip appetizer, both are a favorite! The first time I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass I was in love!! 😍 My husband has tried the Tuna Poke Bowl among other dishes and the food is always on point. Food is always fresh, flavorful and delicious! Servers are amazing and are always so helpful to suggest a dish if you’re new to the restaurant.
Overall amazing food, drinks and ambience! We will be back soon for a Date Night! 😍

Read moreI came here for the first time in more than fifteen years because a friend invited me to the Prix-fix meal deal. It was on a Thursday night, at “6:30”. That’s what the invitation says, but we started to be served around 7-7:15. The biggest issue that I had with the evening was the fact that they were going to seat us at a table with two strangers! We were a party of 2. They sat us (and everyone else) at tables for four, and then tried to seat us with two other complete strangers to have dinner with! It was so awkward! There’s no mention of it whatsoever on the flyer, or email. There was a table next to us with two people and when they tried to bring two strangers over to sit with them, the couple about to be sat said “No way!” And walked out. Mind you, there were at least 10-15 open tables! Tons of people never showed up and it was completely unnecessary to seat strangers together. Lucky for my friend and I, the other people assigned to our table were some of the people who never showed up. On to the review- the food was 4 stars. We started with a salad and glass of Sauvignon blanc. The salad was delicious! The wine was ok. A little bitter for my taste- and all I drink is Sauvignon blanc. Next, we were served a saucy shrimp. It was a good portion, but the sauce was a little sweet, which we didn’t like, and the shrimp was a little overcooked. It came with a white blend wine that I liked more than the SB. Next, we were served a bourbon glazed salmon with green beans and roasted baby potatoes. The salmon and potatoes were perfect. The green beans were undercooked. It came with a red wine which I did not drink. Finally, we were served a coconut pie with a key lime martini. The martini was the hit of the night! The best thing we had. The coconut pie was ok. We were too full to eat it. But I tried it and it was ok. Next, the service. Our waiter, Kosta, was wonderful! We loved having him wait on us, and I’d request him again if I went back. Best part of the night. Finally, I give the atmosphere 4 stars only because of the strange seating arrangements with no prior notice and the fact that they didn’t start serving for 30-45 minutes after the start time stated on the flyer. Still, it was a good deal for $60. The drinks alone would’ve cost that, even though the wine pouring shot smaller and smaller as the night went on. I would do it again, but I’d reserve a table for 4 next time to ensure I’m not sat...
Read moreToday we attended the Brunch Sampling. My daughter and I often attend the sampling and other insider events. The last event we attended was great. However, today was not a great experience. The food was pretty good some dishes better than others (i.e. Crab Cake, Brussels sprouts, Eggs Benedict, Avocado toast, and French toast).
The deduction in stars comes from how we felt. My daughter and I were the only blacks who attended brunch event. So that in itself was a little akward. The people seated to the right of us were very rude. The young ladies to the left of us were loud teachers who couldn't stop talking badly about their students and one of their female coworkers. So seating is very important. Pray that you sit next to friendly people.
Next, our waiter's name was Justin he was extremely nice. So were the young ladies who assisted in serving out table. However there was a gentleman wearing glasses with a very low haircut. He continuously walked around the entire time and it seem he was always had a shady smurk on his face each time he walked by our table. He whispered something about us to Justin. Even though mimosas were served to everyone I was the only one asked to show ID. And it wasn't until the gentleman saw Justin pouring my mimosas.
The manager Everett was very nice and sociable. He was observed visiting tables checking on guests, seeing if we enjoyed the dishes. I didn't complain to him about the young man, only because I didn't want them to do anything to our food.
The last event we attended the food was delicious and we were in good company with the strangers seated with us. We were not this time and that one particular gentleman made the experience worse. Hopefully we will have a better experience next time.
I attached pics of our favorites. We forgot to take picture of the crab cake, but it...
