Hershey’s Ice Cream — Restaurant in Palmetto

We used to go to the Hersheys in Brandon, FL like once a week. It was amazing. The service was phenomenal and my kids would beg to go. I hate that it closed down and we were very sad about it. So, we found this one in Ellenton and got super excited and drove 45 minutes to eat here. I was so disappointed in the service. We seriously had 2 sentences said to us the whole time we were there and the music they had playing was AWFUL. My children are 8 and 10 and my niece is 9. My SIL and I are very cautious about what they listen to, and WAP by Cardi B was playing UNEDITED while we were there. There were 3 young kids working and I understand that is the music they listen to nowadays or whatever, but it is totally unacceptable at a place that is supposed to be considered "family friendly". We couldn't get out of there fast enough. I will NOT be back to this one, and if it wasnt for the awesome experience we had at the other one, I honestly wouldn't be back at a Hersheys Ice Cream ever. For the most part the staff is really friendly. The only complaint I have being when my girlfriend and I were sitting outside the Hershey’s ice cream place on her break from work and the old man told us we had to move because “kids were starting and pointing at us.” I am a transgender male and I’ve told him I’m male multiple times and still refers to me as a female. The only reason he took his time to come tell us to move with out a customers complaint is because I’m trans and she is a female. I will not be visiting again for any reason if...

I was waiting inline to place my order. A girl was helping the two people in front of me. An employee comes walking through the front door and immediately takes over for her. This new employee does not wash his hands and starts serving ice cream to the person in front of me.
