Wow, asked to leave a bar for the first time in my life, 57yo. My wife asked the bartender to request whoever is smoking the pot pen if they could go outside. She lets her know vaping is allowed in the bar. Evidently she then told the customer that my wife complained. Said customer then starts getting snarkey with my wife. I confront him and mention to the bartender that I don’t t believe the same person’s dog should be on the bar. She says they don’t serve food, so this is also ok. We were then asked to leave. A popular bar for it's location. Ellenton definitely does not have a night life, so residents and visitors to this small town are lucky to have a bar that's open late. Bar snacks are limited to popcorn. There are three pool tables, some dart boards, and a golf arcade game. The bar top is long with plenty of seating. I’ve always loved the atmosphere at Evies, but my recent experience with Curt left me feeling uncomfortable. While the bar itself is fantastic, Curt’s attitude felt off—unfriendly and dismissive, which really impacted my overall visit.
