Edit: after looking at the menu description, it says ham, salami, pepperoni melted mozzarella which mine was missing ham. Even tho the description doesn't say lettuce tomato and onions or dressing.......I still recall them having those ingredients.... Regardless.... I'm owed for the missing ham and I didn't get any dill pickle 🥒😢 Please let me know when I can come pick up my pickles. 🤣 Discovered this place a few years ago after randomly trying one of their Italian subs and was IMMEDIATELY in love 💕. I returned regularly and one day learned the hot Italian sub is ONLY available for lunch ... 🤔 Months later I learned the Italian sub wasn't available on weekends either. 🤔 Being a steady regular, I made small talk with the manager one day as I was waiting for my order(last year). I told him I was a chef in the navy for 15 years etc etc etc.... The manager at that time told me ANYTIME I wanted the Italian sub, to just call and order and they would take care of me. 🥰🙏 I tipped the manager well and slipped the chef a $20. It's been a while since I've been back and today I was craving that DELICIOUS 🤤sub so I called around lunch time but it is the weekend, and new manager so I was hoping they would be able to accommodate which they were willing to make the item even though it's the weekend. 🥳🥳🙏🙏 After getting home and anxiously biting into my sub, I was SEVERELY disappointed. 😢I understand management and staff change out rather frequently in the food service industry but I really hope the subs I received today are NOT their new norm..... Extremely dry. They didn't use a single drop of oil nor does my HOT ITALIAN SUB even have any Italian dressing! 😭 No lettuce.... No tomatoes...... I asked for one to have NO ONIONS but come to find out, onions are no longer the norm....Not to mention the meat that was used.... Well.... Look at the pics...🫤 1245pm on a Saturday ....5 cooks in the kitchen.... 2 four top tables were dining in so the place was not busy. Oh, I was told 35 min to come pick up .... When I got there at the proper time, I heard the manager ask the chef ,"I need a kids pepperoni pizza" I then proceeded to wait for my pizza to be cooked from scratch. 😒

Recommended by a local I work with, and I'm very grateful that he mentioned it, estimating he and his wife have eaten there about 200 times! I started off with a dirty gin martini while I examined the rather big menu. I asked for what the chef thinks his best dishes are and he offered a Seared Scallop & Shrimp Risotto or Chicken Saltimbocca. Fewer carbs on the Chicken, so I went with that. I had never had the dish, so I can't compare, but I really liked it. Bold flavors, great texture, wonderful sauce, you can't go wrong with this. My wife likes chicken breast, which I generally find bland, so I"m going to have to learn to make this for her. Rhiannon was my server, and she brought me samples of wine to pair with it. I opted for an Argentinian stainless steel aged Chardonnay instead of the Italian Pinot Grigio because the strong flavors of the dish would overpower the PG. It was reasonably priced, but factor a bottle into my price note below. The flavors are bold and the sage is quite forward. Lots of prosciutto and basil in the dish. It's a rather large portion, so I had to take half of it to the hotel. I saved room for Tiramisu, of course. Beautiful plating, a large portion, and a nice rich tiramisu. I generally prefer a tiramisu with noticeable Amaretto flavor and this didn't quite have that. I normally solve that by ordering a shot of Amaretto or Whisky with the dessert, but given the plate was flat slate, that make pouring it under the lady fingers difficult. Rhiannon knew I was there on business and gave me a non-itemized receipt. Best service I've had in quite a while! I'm definitely coming back.

First time here and I was hesitant to try it due to the reviews but my family insisted, as they love it. And I have to say- I was pleasantly surprised and I will be back. Everything we ate was fresh, hot and well made. Not one person had a negative thing to say about anything- from food to service. It is a loud place on a Friday night- but that is expected as everyone was enjoying themselves! We started with appetizers- the bruschetta, the clams, and the meatball sliders. My son devoured the bruschetta in record time and it was very fresh with olives, tomatoes, onions, tomatoes, and basil, on nice fresh bread drizzled with balsamic glaze. The clams were fantastic per my husband. The meatball sliders were equally great. Three gigantic meatballs on buns and they were fresh and hot. We agreed the meatballs were the best we have had at a restaurant since NYC. For entrees we had the braised short rib pizza, spicy shrimp diavolo, marinated grilled chicken salad/pasta fagiolo, spaghetti and meatballs, and the three cheese penne. All were fabulous. Highlights were the three cheese pasta, the short rib pizza and those meatballs! The soup and salad I ate were very fresh tasting and I loved the Chianti dressing. I could tell the chicken was freshly grilled for my salad and it was a great compliment to the dish. We did not have enough room for dessert and I regret not trying any of the tasty martinis. I will do so next time- because there will be a next time! Highly recommend you give this place a try!

Overall, just okay. But not worth their prices.

Let's start with our server on Saturday night. He was sick. Constantly sniffling, sweating profusely, etc. This should've been our first tipoff. He looked like a zombie movie, that phase before they've fully turned. We should've left there. The guy was trying, though completely out of it. I eventually had to go get my own salt and pepper from another table.

I ordered a Manhatten that was supposed to have smoked rosemary. Sounded interesting. I got a pretty average Manhatten. Not bad, not good. Nothing smoked about it. So i paid $12 for a drink i could've gotten anywhere for $7-$8, or whatever the standard call price is.

My wife got something strawberry martinish. Again not terrible. But tasted like it was mixed with ingredients leftover from a frat party. Pretty bland.

Stuffed mushrooms. 5 little button mushrooms, for $12. The sausage was nicely baked and crispy. They were literally the size of my thumbnail.

A sea scallop appetizer for $15. It was supposed to have a corn/ tarragon coulis, smoked olive oil, and chives. We got 4 medium scallops on a bare plate sprinkled with parsley. That were seared twice as long on one side than the other, they were cooked well in the center, but overcooked on one side and barely seared on the other. This is the only thing we said anything about. They took it off the bill without arguement. The server said they just forgot to finish the plate. So the food runner and the server don't even know what this plate is supposed to look like?

Veal picatta. I'm not sure it wasn't chicken. We were certainly charged for veal. Kinda bland,a skinny filet of something that had been cooked on a flat top (think of the way you get a steak from waffle house or dennys) with no seasoning. The sauce was tasty. The pasta was weirdly chewy. Again, not terrible, but absolutely not worth $22. You'd be better off with a frozen TV dinner than whatever this actually was.

Braised beef short rib. Kinda a take on osso bucco. This was the only thing that was actually good. I opted to get the truffle risotto instead of the mash, which with the upcharge for that brought the price to $31. There wasn't even a note of truffle, but the risotto was at least close to olive garden quality, which makes it better than anything else we'd tried at this point. The beef was braised and reheated nicely, tender. The sauce was mediocre. It was like something you'd get at a cheap good quality family restaurant. Still, not worth anywhere near $31.

So to sum up, if you order anything over $30, it'll still be overpriced, but at least it might be good. Anything else, just skip it. While we were driving off, my wife said we should've just stopped ar WaWa, lol,...

In short, the experience was less then stellar and we will not be back.

From the moment we were greeted at our seat I was off put by our wine glasses being taken from our table (we are a young couple, but old enough). Why have wine glasses at the table to remove them before even taking a drink order. Seemed strange, but I digress. Not having had any of the wines on the menu, I asked our server about the sweetness of one of the cabs and they were unable to answer... we order a bottle of wine. From the time we placed our order until our entree hit the table was probably about 40 minutes, we had wine and an app to keep us busy so I wasn't bothered, but we did notice it was taking some time. When the food was delivered, I was overall very unimpressed by the presentation. I ordered the sausage pesto rigatoni and it was essentially exactly how it sounds - sliced sausage, noodles, and sauce dumped on top. Maybe I was just overreacting and I might sound snauby saying this but this plate had zero presentation. It looks like something I just whipped up in my own kitchen in about 10 minutes of cooking... surely it must make up for it in taste? Wrong, the entire dish was bland and uninspired and I was finished eating after only a few bites... mind you I love food and am in no way a picky eater. It honestly just wasn't good, and was especially not good for a 40 minute window time. Not having eaten anything, my waiter offered a box and I accepted. I took a few more bites (okay, I was hungry and hostage for an hour) and our waiter returned to the table with the check and took the food and the box they just gave me. It's almost as if they knew I was unimpressed with the dish. Again, seemed pretty odd to me not asking if I still wanted the food and the box before taking it. Looking around while I ate I did notice a couple tables where apps were set aside hardly touched, and a couple next to us that didn't eat a thing, waited 15 minutes for their waiter to return, requested boxes and left. After coming home, and reading some recent reviews I wish I would have before, I am not surprised by my experience with the staff, wait, and food which ultimately left us both very...
