Tide !! Natural event Wow mackerel well they went out to the ocean to get out of harm's way !; They will return back to cast line when it's safe !! I experience it after a hurricane they disappear took about a week to come back !!; So I learned something new this year !! Well it makes it better for planning furtrue trips !! Oh yeah learned. Two lessons onthis past trip !! Told friends and family I'll be sending them alot of pictures !! Man I was so wrong !! On a average day of fishing caught 10 to 20 perday !! Also most days were unbelievable high action of activity and 30 to50 fish was normal days catch !! Became one of my favorite places to go and it's also a world wide favorite tourist attractions in the world every day none stop flow of people from daybreak to it gets dark Im so lucky and greatfull to enjoy my new most amazing outdoor fishing trip in the world ! Local mom here. My son plays baseball for a local school, Bayshore High School. The owner, Ryan, sponsored our team this year. For this visit, I had come with the coaches and team for our awards ceremony. He let the boys come out early, fish, and treated us all to lunch! I tried to pay, but I wasn't allowed. I had the Mahi tacos and would definitely get them again, made well with good fresh fish. Most of the boys got the chicken tenders, surprise, and I did try one. Very good, not weird like some! Your kids will love them. All the food ordered was a hit. We saw a manatee and a pod of dolphins swim by too. The views and atmosphere are well worth it. A nice breeze coming through and plenty of shade available. I work in healthcare and we discuss food a lot, so I will be recommending this place to everyone! I was most impressed by the generosity of the owner, Ryan. He was running the food out to us and was taking our empty baskets away. The full menu was available to us. Mixed bag. Loved the atmosphere and live music courtesy of guitarist Howie Banfield. Had the most indifferent service of my vacation here. Destiny who took my order wasn't very helpful and kind of mechanical. Seems like a nice person overall but could be nicer as most hospitality industry workers are here. They wouldn't fix my order of fish tacos that had alota extra stuff I didn't want on it, and I wasn't asked when I placed my order if I wanted everything on it. It seemed expensive for what the portion size was. Grilled shrimp however were tasty. Atmosphere is great out on the pier with peaceful, relaxing views. I was taken aback by their refusing to give me a trash bag so I could use it as a makeshift poncho when it started raining even after I offered to pay for em! What?! It's a nice vibe out on the pier other than this place that needs to work on their customer service skills.
