Cool Beans A.M.I. — Restaurant in Anna Maria island

Absolutely fantastic experience at this coffee shop! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and kindness, setting the tone for an exceptional visit. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for grabbing a coffee before hitting the beach.

The real star of the show, though, is Mandi! She is hands down one of the best baristas I’ve ever encountered. Not only does she craft the most delicious coffee with precision and care, but her friendly personality and genuine enthusiasm make every visit a delight. She remembers customers’ names and favorite drinks, going above and beyond to ensure everyone feels welcome.

My drinks are always perfectly balanced, rich, and smooth—honestly, the best I’ve had in a long time. The attention to detail and passion for great coffee truly shine through.

If you’re looking for a top-tier coffee experience with outstanding service, this is the place to be. Huge shoutout to Mandi for making every visit special! Highly recommend!

Not So Cool Beans, Today we had an interesting experience at “cool” beans located in Anna Maria Island. We happened to order a smoothie and a few coffees. After we had waited nearly 30 minutes for the smoothie, we asked politely if they forgot about our order. After this the guy working the register repeatedly made rude and degrading comment telling us we had “bad attitudes.” He was talking so loud that the rest of the patrons in the store were very uncomfortable including us. The lady “making” the smoothie was also extremely rude not only to us but to numerous other paying customers. She had no customer service skills which are vital in a position like hers. While waiting patiently, we noticed her treating many other customers with disrespect and inconvenience.We are very disappointed and don’t recommend this spot due to the workers attitudes towards their customers. The black coffee is decent, they have a lot of different flavors if you're into that. Probably wouldn't recommend the breakfast sandwiches, as the eggs are just Kirkland frozen egg patties microwaved, and the bacon was a little rubbery. The pastries looked good but I didn't try any. The girl working there solo was nice. If you're staying nearby and just looking for a quick breakfast this will do the job, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Update: Just to respond to the owner's comment, I literally saw them open a new box of Kirkland egg patties for my sandwich. I will also be lowering my rating from 4 stars to 1 star due to the owner's...
