Brownie's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Papillion

Oh boy, absolutely atrocious, my buddy and I entered at approximately 6.45pm around 6.55pm we ordered, for me a medium rare ribeye my pal a burger, after waiting for nearly 35 minutes our waitress brought us our condiments stating that our food will be following shortly, after a further 15/20 minutes when she passed us again she asked if we'd had our food, unfortunately we had not so we relayed this, she pottered off to the serving window and returned to tell us our food was about to go on the grill and it had been "lost" in a party of 45 people's order (yep about to go on the grill), I explained that this was not acceptable and we were not to to blame and asked what is going to be done, she said she'll go ask, upon her return she attempts to tell me that our food charge can't be waived because it is now cooking, I politely but firmly pointed out that it has now been way over an hour and we have not eaten so I will not be paying, I know that this was a tactical approach to keep us there so we'd eventually cave in and say "oh it's ok" but nope, I've worked in this kind of environment and I know what tricks are used to pry your dollars from your pocket, now I'm not an a/hole and could clearly see that the server was attempting to wait on roughly 15 tables on her own, this is a ridiculous practice and is a doomed exercise, for her effort and perseverance I of course left her a tip and made it known to the owner that she was overworked, he was sat at the bar enjoying a nice beverage watching the demise unfold around him without a care. I know personally I shall never step foot in there again, the owner could of at least made an effort to run some food or collect some glasses so the staff could concentrate on what should be his most valued thing in the building, the...

On Thursday 03/31/22 my kids wanted to go here. We used to go in all the time to get fried tacos before the pandemic. This time it’s was by far the Worst service I’ve ever had. My three small children and I stood by the door for at least ten mins and waiters and bartenders walked past us without saying a word, none of them would even make eye contact with us nor would they tell us where we could sit. It was the most awkward Feeling and even my kids where uncomfortable my kids finally asked if we could just leave because the people weren’t being nice so we walked out the door. I will never walk back into this place ever again. It’s not a good environment for family’s anymore. It used to be great what happens to this place? If I could have gave a negative star I would have this place didn’t even deserve the one star that I have to give in order to share...

Saturday night and the waitresses were in over their head. The service was absolutely horrible. The food was worse. We sent a sandwich back twice because it came with mushrooms. It was stated and written down “NO mushrooms “. My mistake was ordering a steak at a bar. Although I have had really good steaks at bars in the past. Brownies is definitely not the bar to order a steak. A Ribeye 12oz, medium rare. It came out and was a kind of grey in color, definitely NOT a Ribeye. It was medium-well and tasted nasty. I sent it back and wanted nothing in exchange. At the end of the meal we were told they “comped” my steak? When you “comp” something to someone, you are giving them something for free. I didn’t eat anything so you comped me nothing.
