Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Paradise Valley

Edited as of 12/9/24: After I wrote my review, the Dickey's owner/manager responded with a very generic ChatGPT response:

"Nezza, we're truly sorry to hear about your experience. This is not the level of service we aim to provide. We'd like to look into this further for you. Please reach out to us at guestexperience@dickeys.com with your order details. We appreciate your feedback and hope to make things right."

On top of them not being accountable for my order, not answering the phones when my order was cancelled with no explanation, them STEALING money from my credit card (they charged me, cancelled the order with no explanation and didn't refund me), there's no EFFORT to make this right. They just want everyone. to see they responded with their generic uncaring response (which I did email them 5 minutes ago btw to see if they really were going to make this right) so they can tick off the box. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT! HONEY BEAR'S BBQ SAVED THE DAY AND HAS WAY BETTER BBQ!!!!!!

Here was my review: We ordered catering on their online site the night before, it was a $154 order so not substationally large. I received notification from DoorDash (I guess they were using DoorDash to deliver my order) that the order was being prepared and 10 minutes right when my order was supposed to be delivered, DoorDash notified me that Dickey's cancelled the order. I called their store repeatedly to inquire what the heck was going on and if they were slammed and needed me to pick up my order. They answered the phone repeatedly and didn't talk. It was as if they knew they were in trouble and decided, let's answer the phone and not say anything. I called their national catering hotline who said I'd have to talk to the store. So we're going in circles here. I ended up ordering from Honey's BBQ. This was a week ago. Just looked at my cc statement today and the charge went through, they didn't even refund the charge.

The food was pretty good but I wished me and my bf had just left when we had the chance to. From then start the service was bad. It was mine and my boyfriends first time here and when we let our cook know we needed a minute he rolled his eyes and had a stank face. We brushed it off at first and then he made a even skankier face when we told him we both wanted fries as a side because apparently there 6 minutes each to make. If that’s a issue then remove them off your menu or don’t get mad when paying customers order them. First of all, the food was very tasty, with great flavors. I read the reviews before going, and some people commented on the bad customer service. Well, they were all correct. We arrived at an empty establishment and were NOT acknowledged at all by any of the 2 employees. I said hello, and the younger lady replied with a hello, that was her interaction, nothing else. We looked at the menu, which is located above the counter, and when we were ready to order, (which by the way they never asked if we had any questions) we asked where do we order?
