Yesterday we had the worst experience at this restaurant because the waitress named Andrea sat us at a table, for more than 15 minutes waiting I asked the waiters who could help me and they all told me it was not my table, among those waitresses was she, I told the hostess and she sent the manager, who apologized and said to Andrea can you help her and she with attitude and making faces said no, I don't have my iPad with me, the manager said please take your order and give it to me so I can help you, the manager asked for a sheet and a paper so she could take our order. When Andrea took the order with a lot of attitude and upset because she didn't understand my order of a simple hamburger with cheese, bacon, tomato and lettuce with her bad face she told me that she didn't understand. After leaving with the order, we were waiting for our food for an hour, an hour and during that time Andrea never came back, only Eli and the manager who when she saw that we hadn't eaten, went and got our food, Andrea never got our order, Andrea came back with a tray of food which she threw on the table next to us and took each plate of food and just threw them in the middle of the table and left saying some things under her breath. Eli another waitress came to check if everything was ok and of course the order was incorrect, she corrected it and apologized for everything Andrea did to us! I thank the waiters especially Eli and the manager who helped us at all times, but it was more than evident Andrea's lack of professionalism as well as she never followed the orders of...
Read moreYou'd think a Denny's was a Denny's was a Denny's as a franchise right? Wrong We've been to tens of Denny's in our lifetime. This one was the least good. We expected the wait, it's in a busy location, and it was breakfast time (10ish), so no issues there. The girl taking people to their tables when they were called was lovely and friendly, the redhaired girl taking the 'bookings' was sour faced and apparently completely lacked the ability to say 'please', 'thank you', 'you're welcome' or 'you too', or to smile. I'm not one of these "smile, you'll look prettier" types of people, but if you work in the service industry (and I did, for decades), a smile is a part of your uniform. I resent being greeted with a frown or a sour face for breakfast, no matter how busy the location is. Everyone except for the girl seating clients looked really annoyed to be there. Again I will not fault the wait, because it was busy, and it took a while for us to be served, but I cannot complain about that since we chose the time of day to go. However, the food was not the Denny's quality we have come to know. The biscuits and sausage gravy had no sausage, the biscuits could have doubled as ice hockey pucks they were so hard, the hash browns on both my husband's plate and mine were stone cold, and my husband remarked that he thought they had been plated early and left out. His omelet was good though, he said.
If you decide to go, take note of the time and that you will have to wait, but that's okay, it is what you...
Read moreDuring my visit to the strip, I stopped here for a total of 3 times. Find my summary below.
1st time: Very crowded, possibly at capacity. My server had noted my wishes, but the cook messed it up. Server was enjoyable, albeit a little slow. From when I sat down to my (corrected) meal was served, 30 minutes had passed. Most likely due to the large number of patrons. My waiter wanted to correct his mistakes. Even showed me his tablet thingy to prove he noted no cheese on my order. (It was a Slamwich with no sausage no cheese). However, the manager didn't strike me as service minded. I did end up with a free milkshake though.
2nd visit: Restaurant at medium capacity, server was also enjoyable, around 20 mins waiting time. This time I ordered a build your own omelette. No complaints about this stay.
3rd visit: I counted 5 occupied tables with 2 persons on each, yet half the Restaurant had plates/drinks and leftover food from other quests. (Most of which was still there when I left an hour later) Server asked for what I'd like to drink, but my drink didn't arrive until after my food did. Ordered a strawberry lemonade as a drink, and when it finally came after my food order (which was a burger) it was bland and tasteless. Basically water with color. Server also struck me as...how do I put this.. uninterested in being at work.
Although I've had a mixed cup of experiences the food itself is good and tasty. (As you expect from a Dennys.) Whenever it does come and is made...
