MGM Grand — Hotel in Paradise

My husband and I stayed here for four nights last week to celebrate our wedding, and unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing and stressful from start to finish.

The first night, our room had no hot water. We were moved to another room, only to endure nonstop construction noise that made it nearly impossible to relax or sleep. On our final day, we paid for late checkout—only to have the water shut off completely and be moved to a third room in four days.

The worst part: while I was showering in that third room, strangers somehow had access to it and walked in. It was incredibly alarming and a complete violation of privacy. To make matters worse, our key cards were deactivated even though we paid for late checkout, and it took over an hour in line just to speak with someone and regain access to our room.

This was supposed to be one of the most special weeks of our lives, and instead it was full of frustration, poor communication, and unsafe conditions. I sincerely hope management addresses these serious issues—especially around guest safety, staffing, and honoring paid...

First the lady at the front desk set my reservation for the wrong dates after I paid 587.00 in cash. I thought I paid for three days but she put two days. Then MGM says I have to pay for another night because of the misunderstanding on there end with there employee. The manager assisted us but still made us pay. I feel like I’m paying for my mistakes. After I paid cash the lady didn’t even give me a printout she wrote me a hand receipt and didn’t even put the amount of days we were staying in the section that she should have. This is my last day here and MGM has ruined it. I missed an event that I already paid for and not only that they still made me pay for my last day because of their misunderstanding and mistake. This was a great trip, and a great stay...one you won't be disappointed with for what you pay for! Plus it's in a great location. We got a grand with double queen beds and the room was great, exactly the right size, unlike those you book in New York.

Our room was on the 4th floor so the view was less "grand" and more looking at the back of another building, but still able to see the sky. But who comes to Vegas stay in the room and look out the window? There are plenty of food options but they don't come cheap, but that's every hotel/casino in Vegas. If you came to gamble you won't need to leave, and cashing out out is simple, just don't expect to get any...
