I have been a loyal customer of jersey mike's sandwich shops for many years now.
This location is a whole different monster.
I came in for a lunch with my family, And the employees created an extremely dangerous and hostile situation for me and my family.
My two year old son was playing And one of his hotwheel cars rolled into the kitchen which I retrieved.
The employee andrew then proceeded To tell me that my son could not be playing near the kitchen which I agreed with and told him I would make sure It didn't happen.
He then began creating a barricade with chair Is that any child would be go through, under or around, And effectively blocked off the restrooms for all other customers and the emergency exit in the back. This created a dangerous situation.Not only for my son who could have injured himself on the barricade, But also for everybody else in the store.Had there been an emergency situation that required using the back door.
I then pointed out to the employee that this was not an effective means asked if he had kids which he clearly did not have any experience with kids his own or otherwise.
Andrew then began to become aggressive with me and ultimately ended up pulling a concealed butterfly knife. His co worker also threatened to knock me out Unconscious.
I attempted to notify the mananger of what was going on, And He quite literally told me that this was not his usual location so he did not care.
I have reached out to customer service who has offered to refund me $20 for the inconvenience of having my and my family's life threatened by poorly trained employees with some kind of anger management issue.
I explained that this will not be enough but they have refused to respond to several emails and text messages and phone calls.
Unacceptable. I genuinely regret not pressing criminal charges...

There was a bald manager that was always welcoming and remembered our office staff every time we came in. He's the reason why we kept coming back to this location, if you must know! Today 12/21/2021 our office ordered online as we always do about every other week or so ($50-$100+ orders) You'd think they love us for giving this location our business but NO... Lately our orders have had the wrong items on sandwiches or giving us the wrong size on certain subs so I decided to write a note upon ordering that stated "Please pay attention. Our order is always wrong." I cannot believe the nerve of the employee whoever bagged my order and wrote us this note on their receipt paper. "If always wrong why still order" like are you joking? If you can't read an online order, why work there? You literally have one job, it's embarrassing to the Jersey Mike's franchise. I get that help is limited and you gotta hire whoever applies but for Christ's sake just DO YOUR JOB! Which you did this time, so congratulations on reading and comprehending correctly. Read moreBad customer service. A white female employee named Taylor at around 5pm on 4/7/2016 was very rude. She was walking around the store carrying a drink when I got there, and she feaux apologized and laughed insincerely for taking a while to get back to the counter like she didn't care.
I ordered an X-tra Large sandwich, had to repeat my order for her in a completely empty and quiet store, and when done she didn't offer me a bag to carry it out or any napkins, after managing to arbitrarily sell me the smallest size drink available.
When I slid the receipt towards her after signing it she picked it up so fast and suddenly like she was practically clawing at it to get it and openly show contempt at how she was done with me, was just waiting on me to be done.
I won't be back. Capriotti's down the street works better and tastes way better anyway.
