Taco E Birria Tijuana — Restaurant in Paradise

Angelica had thee worst attitude I’ve ever experienced! I brought my friends from Marina Del Rey California. I had been telling them how amazing this place is. I’m SO EMBARRASSED. My friend had a service companion (with her vest on) and Angelica immediately informed us we were not welcomed to dine with the service companion. I explained to her that I’m a restaurant manager in California and lived and in Nevada a few months ago where I held a title of restaurant manager. I explained to her that it is illegal to ask a patron for verification of a service companion. My friend was so stressed searching for her verification, where she could not even think straight. I was so angry that I could not even enjoy one of my favorite places to visit. I brought my friends here to enjoy one of my favorite places in Las Vegas, only to be completely humiliated! I’m never going back! I tell so many people about this place. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for 20 plus years, I’ve never been treated this way. Amazing Tacos but the place wasn't clean. Major health concern. They can do better. One of ppl in our the party accidentally got up without his mask and they quickly called it to his attention. Which is absolutely fine, but this family came in and sat down, they out their kids right behind our booth in a spot that had red tinsel to where people were not to sit. Nobody in the staff said anything. They were right behind me without masks. We had to get up and leave. I didn't say anything because I didn't want trouble so we left. We would have probably stayed longer and ordered more but I immediately became concerned with my health.

I just hope who ever runs this spot and the staff understands masks only do part of the work. Cleanliness and social distancing is also important. We had to clean and wipe up the table ourselves. It was obvious they were not wiping it down after each guest. I don't wish them bad but they are playing with fire. I do hope they step up their safety habits. I was there yesterday for the 2 x 1 tacos. I ordered 4 tacos. The lady in charge gave me my order and I thought they were all in the same plate. I didn't question it as I saw the cook placing other 4 tacos in a small plate.

I go back to work to eat my tacos and find out that I only had 2 tacos. I was livid. I must of called them 5 times which I was hung up. Finally someone answered and I told them what happened. They had the audacity to ask me to come get my tacos in the afternoon. I'm like, "I am in my lunch break for God sake".

So what do I do? Go back in the heat to pick up the other 2. They were obviously nice about it as they were at fault. Did I get a free coke or drink on them for my troubles??? That would be a no! I understand that they are busy but come on! I like this place but they are too slow and something always is wrong.

I will think about going back. Plus everything including the tortillas shrunk but...
