We were out looking for something to eat and ended up stopping at The Crack Shack since it looked like a decent place and it was getting late. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was prompt -- our food came out fairly quickly and looked appetizing.
We ordered the five-piece chicken and a chicken sandwich, both with fries. The fries were tasty, and the chicken had a nice crispy texture. Unfortunately, the flavor was pretty bland, and the biggest issue came when I bit into one of the chicken pieces and found it pink and bleeding inside.
I brought this to the attention of a supervisor, who was understanding and professional. She directed me to the manager, and while he was courteous, he insisted that the chicken was fully cooked and just "bleeds" because it's fresh. I've eaten plenty of chicken in my life, and I've never encountered cooked chicken that bleeds -- this didn't sit right with me.
Though he offered to replace the chicken, I declined as the experience had already turned me off. He did, however, give us a milkshake as a gesture of goodwill -- and I have to say, it was excellent (10/10).
Overall, while the staff handled the situation politely, serving undercooked chicken is a serious concern and left us with a disappointing experience. Hope this was just a rare slip and not a recurring issue.
Although the chicken wasn't fully cooked, I feel that maybe the cook was having a bad day or was just new. The staff handled the situation professionally, and I appreciate that. I'll give them another try, but if it happens again, I won't be...
Read moreWe dined in here last night after a work event. We both love "healthy", clean, organic food but also love a good fried chicken sandwich or meal! We were greeted warmly at the front by genuinely friendly staff. We lucked out because we arrived after everyone was at a Golden Knights game so it was not too busy. The manager Kristen, was so welcoming, accommodating, knowledgeable generous with her time. She made sure that everyone at Crack Shack was being taken care of. The atmosphere is nice, casual, clean with some large big screen TVs which is very convenient for game watchers! We both had cream sodas from the cream soda fountain! They were so amazing and only used cane sugar so it was less guilt (I do not typically drink soda so this was awesome! We ordered the Firebird, and the Kook Bowl (recommendation). The Kook bowl was fun with different flavors and had an Asian spin to it. Everything was fresh with a nice presentation. I loved the firebird because everything had flavor but nothing was drowning out the flavor profile of the other, it was spicy but I could still taste the chicken. Also it was nice and crispy on the outside with great fried batter and super soft and tender on the inside. I love that all of the chicken they use is Jidori Chicken. You can definitely taste and see the difference. We had the fries as well which are astounding!! They are handmade, made in house and well seasoned to perfection! I also loved all of the sauces. Overall everything was delicious, well cooked and the service was amazing. Crack Shack, we...
Read moreFrom the moment you walk into The Crack Shack in Las Vegas, you're greeted with a wave of warmth and kindness that sets the tone for the culinary journey you're about to embark on. The staff here are not just employees, but rather, they are ambassadors of the delightful dining experience that this establishment promises and delivers.
The menu is an explosion of flavor, with each item outdoing the last. My choice of the day was the Firebird - a dish so fantastic, it felt like a phoenix rising from the ashes of typical restaurant fare. It was nothing short of a masterpiece that fully deserves an encore.
My wife, on the other hand, opted for The Hangover. Now, don't be fooled by the name, it's anything but regrettable. Each bite was a delicious reminder of the creative genius behind the menu. The delight doesn't end there, though, because the fries at The Crack Shack are indeed like literal crack. Not only are they addictive, but they also pair impeccably well with the wide array of house-made sauces that we highly recommend you try.
As you sit there, savoring each bite, you'll find yourself immersed in a hip and trendy atmosphere that's just the cherry on top of this fantastic dining experience. And did I mention the bar? Whether you're looking for a refreshing mocktail or a classic cocktail, the bar is ready to serve.
In summary, The Crack Shack in Las Vegas is an absolute must-visit. It's not just about eating here, it's about experiencing culinary brilliance. Don't just take my word for it, go and taste the...
