Edit: We've now gone to this Wendy's two or three times since my initial review a few years ago. Each time has been progressively better, which speaks highly of the efforts that management has made to improve their customer service. Many fast food restaurants completely fail in this aspect, but I was very impressed with the staff tonight. Everybody seemed happy, friendly, and willing to help.
On top of that, everything was clean and well-stocked. We went in with a group of about 20 people, and we were all served very efficiently and accurately. It's so encouraging to see a business make extra efforts to serve the local community!
I highly recommend this Wendy's and look forward to our next visit!
(Initial review from 2023) The food was good but that's about the only positive thing I could find. The drink machine was out of service, the bin for straws and 2 or 3 other utensils were empty and on top of that, it was a hot day and the AC was barely on. While the temperature didn't bother me much at all, it seemed to greatly bother the woman taking orders. Or maybe something else was bothering her. It was clear to me & my friend that she didn't want to be there - and maybe she had a recent family tragedy or something else of a depressing nature was on her mind. I would strongly suggest to the management that they work a little harder on making their workplace a more pleasant environment for their employees, who (hopefully) will pass that on to the customers. As it is, we felt quite unwelcome on this particular visit.
Update (2024): the service was much better this time and we got our food very quickly. Everything was just as we had ordered and we were pleased with the service...
Read moreThey are running a SCAM!! This Wendy on Rt 4, Paramus NJ, Drive thru, on July 30, 2022. I reported the scam to Paramus Police and Wendy Corp and BBB. I have the original receipts. They charge extra on you card as cash back but not a lot so you won’t notice, on your bill. Then the workers in the scam will pocket the extra money. This Wendy is very busy. So can you imagine them charging extra to each person $1.25/$1.50….they will make about $1.500. Or more each day to pocket. I order on menu the 4-4 order. The person told me $5.80… I paid on the first window with my debit card. The worker gave me back my debit card with no receipt. I requested my receipt and drove to second window to pick up my order. I started reviewing my receipt and I noticed the person put $1.07 change back. When I started questioning my receipt to the second person at the window. She was trying to convence me, that it was correct. I kept questioning the change back and now she responded with “they only charge you $4.73…not the $5.80” I responded that I will be pulling into a parking spot. Checking my bank Acct to see how much I was charge. Her tone change and suddenly she was asking me to wait. She Disappear for like 2 minutes and came back with the $1.07 cash. Explaining it was a mistake they put a hot sauce on my receipt. I told her to stop lying. On my receipt it does not say hot sauce. It says change given. That I knew they were running a scam. I took my cash and reported that Wendy to Paramus police and made complain with Wendy corporate and BBB. Please be careful. Check your receipt. I’m never going back to that...
Read more3am. Not a single person besides me and they still messed up my order! Simply amazing! I ordered a homestyle chicken sandwich on Wendy’s mobile app. They gave me a cheeseburger that was sloppy with ketchup and mayo it was disgusting looking. One simple order. No one else ordering and the can’t even make 1 simple sandwich. I understand when they are just things happen but this was just ridiculous. Also it’s Friday night and Wendy’s help isn’t available until Monday 8am?! Why isn’t there live agent chat like every other app? I wanted to go back and throw the cheeseburger in the drive-thru window to make a point. So I’m just out $10. I hope this deters people from using this Wendy’s. It’s not rocket science…you read what the order is. Find those items, then put them in a bag. Simple right?! Obviously not! And these people want more than minimum wage? For what?! They constantly get orders wrong. Imagine how much they make from this going on at each Wendy’s...
