Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Paris

I gave five stars because I love Braums! The A 2 milk reduced fat is the best. It was a madhouse inside at 4:15 p.m. Saturday 03 July. I went to the counter where you order your burgers to pay for my milk because no one was at the register(s) on the side, the young man said; he did not know how to ring my milk up and not one person out of eight or nine people behind the counter made eye contact to the order/check out area...just an observation. Then I noticed a young lady over at the counter that I was originally at, she checked a customer out, when I walked over and put my milk on the counter, (she was right there at the register) she exited the register to retrieve another employee that was doing something else, (to tell her she was leaving) which she set down what she was doing and then I was checked out. I thought this was ridiculous. I was right there and she was at the register. Order 872675 Basically the small young lady with the "long-unique name tag" left as I was thinking she was going to check me out. I was checked out and this new young lady, did not have any coins in her drawer. She seemed very scared, somewhat disturbed by this, but it was only twenty two cents. I will wrote no more on this.

I decided to go back to the counter where I had tried to get my milk checked out, just to try a small jr burger/dry, no condiments and a small fry $3.77 with tax he said. (#605) Order 476273. The young man Brandon was very kind and attentive, even in all the chaos around him behind the counter. There was a line at the ice cream window for eight or nine employee's being behind it. He asked me if I wanted vegetables on my burger and I said sure, just pickles and lettus only, buy I want it dry. To my surprise he then said; that will be $4.63. I said, no, just dry, meat and bread only then. W-h-a-t-!-? I don't eat fast food at Braum's but this was shocking to me. He told me he had to charge for any vegetables on my burger. If your ready to wait over FORTY minutes, then this is the right place for you. Me and my SO got a chocolate shake and simple bag of burgers at 12:54 PM (for those that don't know a bag of burgers consists of five bare minimum burgers) we had made two separate orders, I ordered the shake and my SO ordered the burgers, we were expecting our order to be done in a TIMELY MANNER and be out and on our merry old way in under ten minutes. Alas that was not the case, the minutes slowly ticked by. After thirty minutes of waiting, we noticed one of the workers put a large chocolate shake (just like the one I ordered) on the counter ready to go, well ten or so minutes later it's still sitting there so we assume it's not ours. So as we're waiting the clock is slowly approaching 1:34 PM and FINALLY the lady comes up and calls out our orders! Wow! I was surprised I didn't die of old age. So after forty minutes later we finally get our order, but that's not the last of this little rant. While we were standing there (we were waiting at the front counter the entire time) we noticed that the people making the ice cream dishes NEVER ONCE cleaned the mixers. Will not be back to this location. Asked for my burger to be mayo only no ketchup, no mustard and NO BRAUMS SAUCE, what do they do to fix it? Just take the bun with braums sauce on and put a dry bun on the same burger that previously had braums sauce!! Now I'm allergic to mustard and as soon as I took a bite of the "new burger" my lips immediately began to tingle... not wantin to be the rude customer and ask them to remake my burger again for the 2nd time I took a picture of it.. clearly the braums sauce still on my patty.. and picked at my burger eating what I could. Before I left I decided to let the manager on duty know i knew he didn't remake my burger.. just so happened the district manager was there and talk about rude! Insisted he remade my burger himself.. I stood there the entire time of 10 seconds for them to remake my burger.. no way he did it.. and then proceeded to call me a liar saying I put ketchup on my burger and would not tell me his name but kept telling me he dares me to call this issue...
