Hobby Lobby — Local services in Paris

Most of the art supplies and jewelry-making pieces are in the back. Great selection of beads! I like the nature-related/exploration/adventure-themed charms and pendants. Sometimes you have to order jewelry findings online (especially antique brass color), but they have plenty in silver. I have had a good experience with online ordering. In the store, I had to wander a bit to find scrapbooking paper and sketchbooks. Wish the aisles were more clearly labeled. I did find cute bee posters for $0.99 that I will use for pollinator education! It surprised me to find dishes with moth designs on them (which appeals to the nature nerd in me!). Kitchen towels with embroidered mushrooms and their scientific names!

I've gotten several projects done with supplies from this store. Overall, very happy with purchases and availability...

I bought a Christmas tree that had previously been purchased and returned and was on clearance 90%off. I asked an employee about it and she said let’s just take it out of its packaging and see if it was all there. I said that she didn’t have to do that but she and another employee had it up and lights on in about 5 minutes. It looked beautiful and I certainly was happy to get such a deal. Thank you Angelica and Susan at Hobby Lobby in Paris, Tx. They even saw to that is was put into my car to take home. I love this store!! Never met these two before, but I certainly was impressed by their kindness and help—offered a tip but it was refused. ...

Do not shop at this location. Very unprofessional. I paid full price for a tree and was given the display without being told. I get home and realize it says display on the box, has been opened and resealed, so I call. They refuse to discount the tree even tho it’s been on the floor and is still considered “new”. Unfortunately, due to covid, I don’t consider a tree on the floor that is getting touched by everyone to be “new”. I just feel like it was purposely hidden from me instead of just informing me before walking out the door that it was the display. Most places let you know. I wouldn’t have purchased...
