90+% of my reviews are very positive, however from time to time I run across a place that has opportunities. I'm in Paris Texas on business staying at the Hampton Inn. 300 yards across the parking lot is a Pizza Hut so I checked out the menu on line and walked over to pick up a take out order. I asked for my selection only to be told that what I wanted was only available online so I would have to walk back to the hotel and place my order and return. STRIKE #1. Of course I asked for another moment to look at the menu and made another selection and ordered. (8 wings and a side salad) I was told it would be 15 minutes. 25 minutes later STRIKE #2 they tied my bag saying they didn't want anything to fall out and sent me on my way. Once I walked back to the hotel, got on the elevator, back to my room and settled in to eat I found there was no napkins or flat ware to eat my salad. STRIKE #3 No big deal, so I went down to the lobby for some napkins and a fork and returned back to my room, only to discover they didn't put any dressing on my salad. STRIKE #4 I put the wings in the microwave took my salad and walked back over to Pizza Hut and reported that there was no dressing on my salad. No apology, just I'll get you some in a moment. STRIKE #5 She gave me a plastic cup of dressing and I walked back over and up to my room and found they gave me ranch instead of cesar. I can't tell you how many years it's been since I've eaten at a Pizza Hut, but I can tell you with 100% certainty, it will be a cold day in hell before I ever go into...
Read moreConscientious, polite waitstaff. Tables in cozy, romantic, dark setting. Clean, orderly (like a furniture showroom) dining area. Many high school & PJC sports pics & whatnots tastefully embellish the walls. Ordered 4 toppings: ▻ black olives, ▻ sausage, ▻ mushrooms, & on ½ ▻ jalapeños (for $18.⁵⁹ + Tip). Truly great pizza!
☹ Usually when I drive by, Pizza Hut parking lot seems empty. Now I know why. Dropped in today. 2 couples leaving, & apparently no one else in the bldg. 5 min someone came out to seat me. After ≈ 10 min, few more customers. With no one there, I took pics inside. Soon an employee came up & asked (in a slightly paranoid fashion) why the pictures. I showed her my Google Maps contributions. Seeming to understand, she soon returned informing: “My manager said no pictures inside without calling Pizza Hut corporate & getting permission.” Tried “Pizza Hut Guest” WiFi, but they don’t allow connectivity to guests. • Not heavily patronized. • Ignore customers. • Officious denying of photos (after the fact). • Guest WiFi that denies all guest’s access. • Large pizza about the size of everyone else’s Medium. • 5 ✮’s for taste & choosing exquisite waitstaff. • 1 ✮ for customer friendly practices. • Compromise w/ 2 ✮’s. Read moreAlright so we went in and the first mistake of the restraunt was an employee was standing on top of the counter where they give you your food the second mistake was the employee that was attending the cash register was not going to wipe down the counter unless we asked her to. Now we ordered extra Pepperoni and garlic crust and a second pizza with Extra pepperoni , mushrooms and Garlic crust. After me and my grandfather ordered we sat down, now we understand the wait we didn't call ahead and that was fine. When we sat we talked about his time in culinary and how that guy would've been thrown out of the kitchen well the guy comes over and starts to give us attitude and that was a huge mistake on him and my grandfather calming said the only problem he had with him was his feet on the counter, the employee then walked off in a sort of a way thinking we just said something that we weren't suppose to. Well we opened our pizza and there were the regular number of Pepperonis on the pizza but the crust was right keep in mind the two times before this they had a regular crust but this time they got it right. Now I apologize for my spelling but this restraunt either needs to be fixed or shut down we will give it one more time but if it messes up like this again they will loose our buisness.
