I have been to this donut shop 3 times since they opened. I have a good sized family my wife and I and our 4 boys so we usually get a dozen donuts, kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches, etc. which usually adds up to around $40+ a tip every weekend we have spent at this business. I must admit their donuts are always good, but the problem is 2 out of the 3 times we have come here they have no selection. I asked why there were hardly any donuts last time and was told I came too early (this was at 7am). My 3rd visit had little to no selection again and was told I was too late (this was at 9am). So when exactly are you supposed to get to a business that is open from 4am to 6pm and get a decent selection of what they sell. I was not looking for anything out of the ordinary just a dozen glazed, maple and chocolate hole donuts. Today I asked if they were going to have any more and he said come back in 15 minutes and they would be sure to have new ones made. I figured I would give them extra time to be sure to have some donuts ready so I came back in 30 minutes and the selection was even worse and I have now wasted my time coming back for no reason and was lied to which aggravated me even more. I asked if the donuts that were promised to be done were in the back or something and was told no they didn’t have any made yet and I said why did you tell me to come back in 15 minutes if you weren’t going to have any donuts ready and the man just laughed about it? Maybe it was a language barrier, but I didn’t think being lied to and wasting my gas and time coming back for nothing was very funny but oh well. I would have rather been told they weren’t going to have any more donuts than to be told to come back for no reason at all. I was very excited to see a donut shop show up in Park City but a donut shop that is always out of donuts seems worthless. I hope their customer service and selection improves or it will die out and the new will wear off very quickly and close like daylight donuts did several years ago. Anyway, we ended going up to the “Hornets Nest” donut shop in Valley Center to buy our weekly fix of donuts and breakfast sandwiches and as always we were very pleased with their service and donuts. And as an added bonus they were cheaper than SK in Park City. Even though the “Hornets Nest” closes at noon they had a much bigger selection than SK did in Park City. So if you get to SK to find they have no selection don’t come back in 15 minutes for nothing go try the “Hornets Nest” out. It may be a little farther drive, but at least they will have a decent selection for a cheaper price and just as good...
Read moreThis place is amazing. Wonderful service and tasty pastries. The coffee is amazing. Coffee lover in me rejoices. The coffee is not drowned out by adding too much sugar or flavored syrup. I had the carmel coffee and Vietnamese coffee. Bold flavors with the perfect amount of cream/sugar/flavoring. Everything is fresh and once it is gone, have to wait until tomorrow. Not a worry, there is so much offered, won't leave there hungry. The croissants are light and fluffy, yet so filling. Will definitely be a destination we go with weekly. Don't let the sign fool you. Inside is warm and inviting, especially when you get to the counter and see all the beautifully delicious...
Read moreI’ve been going here since they opened, but today made me never want to go back. I showed up a little after 9 and they had a be back in five minutes sign up. When they got back I walked in the door and saw they had like no selection. I asked if they had some certain items and she completely ignored/ misheard me. In the minute time frame of me ordering as fast as I could because she couldn’t be bothered she asked me “is that it?” Like four times. Very unprofessional and rude. I don’t have any...
