Disgusting. Nasty. Filthy. I will not go here again, not even for ice cream.
Let me tell you about my experience. Kids and I stop in to get some quick treats. They were a little busy but we waited and waited to be answered on the intercom and after 20 minutes of waiting and watching inside the store I no longer wanted to eat here.
I had seen (what appeared to be a manager as he was wearing different clothing as the other employees) a young man run his hands through his green hair adjusting his green ponytail which was on top of his head several times while not wearing gloves, talking (actually yelling into) on his cell phone, while fixing drinks and putting lids on those drinks, and bagging up food orders ready to go out. Just gross.
I looked over to another (would be) patron and told her what I hd seen and how long we have waited. I told her that we were going to go to the Valley Center Sonic to order and that they actually have a drive through. She followed us over there. It was out of the way and the service wasn't that great there that night but it beats having some guys hair grease juice all over your drink cups and wrappers that you have to touch...
Read moreMy daughter and I get iced tea at Sonic all over Wichita and the surrounding area. Because I am diabetic and like the sugar-free flavoring syrups, and my daughter has a bad reaction to Splenda, (and because in these Corona days, we don't want to drink from each other's cups) we politely ask that the cups be labeled. We are always told they will be.
They never are. The carhop guesses or tries to decipher the pushed in dots on the lid.
My daughter has taken to sometimes adding limes she doesn't want or ordering the tea in different sizes so we can tell them apart, which is a nuisance.
The other day, at a new Sonic, we tried again. They cheerfully assured us they would label the drinks, AND THEY DID! Not only did they get the order right, but they correctly spelled and legibly wrote a description of the contents of each cup with a pen near the rim of each cup! Wow!

Read moreThis place needs shut down. The managment acts like entitled children. I have witnessed the entire crew straight up ignore customers blaming the service buttons do not work and that someone stole the cone blocking that stall. Corporate really needs to come in and clean house. They always know when inspection people are coming what they drive what they are wearing and what they are going to order so of course the staff will do as they are supposed to. So corporate needs to be sneaky and get that store under control or shut it down. Ordered nothing because I never got answered at the stall. ONE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO ORDER IN THE APP FOR DECENT SERVICE OR EVEN TO BE WAITED ON. DO BETTER OR SHUT DOWN. I hear a guy named Tim Hamilton gets upset about bad reviews and complaints to corporate. Unfortunately those will continue until something SERIOUS is done...
