Decided to visit this location and celebrate veterans day with my family but from start to finish it was terrible. First took awhile to get a table eventhough half the tables were clear. Then the waitress was harsh to us about ordering and seemed as though we where bothering her. Then I asked about the special menu for the veterans meal then she really became irritated as in oh here is another one. We ordered then never got our drinks until I asked and someone else brought them. Then several tables got there meals that came after us. Still no waitress. When the meals did come out they were ice cold. Still no waitress asking if food was ok. We had to ask someone to find her. When she came to table she brought her poor attitude along yet again. We stated sorry to ask but could they heat up or food that it was ice cold. She stated so what do want then something else, we said no just what we ordered. She took food and walked off po'ed again. When food came out again she slung it down didn't say a word and walked off. We then asked for the manager who came out was nice but dont think he really understood what was truly happening. I said that the waitress was not only rude but embarrassing me and my family and made me feel like dirt for being military. Still no drink refills guess she got spoken to and made it worse. Then waited for at least 30 mins or more after done with meal just to get a bill then she popped off about using the tablet tablet to do it I stated there isn't one on or table she stormed off again then came back with the bill which they decided to double the bill charging us for the cold meal and a whole another order for heating it up and charging me and wife for or veterans day meal. Again I was so embarrassed and felt ashamed to be military. The manager then took over for a minute then came to table and said dont worry about the big bill he would take off the extra do to the issues. I think he wasn't really understood it was to be our free veterans day meal but do to being so embarrassed again and hurt that we were treated like dirt I just paid it. I do hope they didn't do this to others throughout the day but I have a feeling the waitress did. Hate to say but that was the worst experience. May just eat at home next year. We serve the people of the United states of America even...
Read moreWe are not new to Chili's; we have, for many years, eaten here several times a month. While we were disappointed in their menu cut, they had always been accommodating to my food allergy (pork). Last Sunday, we went in for lunch and sat in the bar. We were served by Michael. I told him I had a food allergy before ordering, and he did not indicate it would be a problem (I wasn't expecting it to be, it never had before). However, after that visit, I got sick, so clearly there was some cross-contamination. We went back in today, and again sat in the bar, and Michael was our server again. When I mentioned that we were in last week and I told him about the food allergy (he clearly didn't remember me), he said, "I'm going to stop you right there. Have you seen our food allergen menu?" I asked him why, after all the time we'd been here, this was the first we were told of it, including last week, he said, "Well, I'm the best server we have about food allergies, and there's no way I wouldn't have told you. If your allergy is not on here, I can't guarantee anything. I can call my manager over and he'll tell you the same thing." Incredibly rude and condescending. I was ready to get up and walk out, but my husband and son were hungry, so we still ordered and ate. I asked him to please note the allergy on the ticket and ordered bone-in wings, which have been safe before. He not only did not note the allergy, when the wings came out, there was a very unpleasant plastic taste to the wings. It will be a VERY LONG time before I am comfortable in ANY Chili's again, and it definitely will not be this one. To top it off, we were not allowed to use the ziosk to pay (as that would have triggered a survey) - Michael had to run our ticket (fortunately my wings were removed from the ticket since I told them after eating a few of them that they didn't taste right, but I was never offered anything else. They just took my plate and said, "Sorry"), so we were not given the opportunity to send in any feedback. I don't know what happened about a month ago, but this Chili's is no longer a...
Read moreI don't normally leave reviews but this was warranted. We went after the lunch rush hour and the restaurant was not packed. They sat us at the table and it took almost 15 minutes before we were able to even get our drinks ordered. Again, I emphasize that the restaurant was not packed. When we finally got our drinks, Our server said that she would be right back to take our order. It was almost another 10 minutes before we saw her again. A family walked in after us and within 5 minutes were placing the their order.
Almost 30 minutes elapsed and we still we're not able to place our order. We were sat and then ignored. The server then came back to finally take our order and we decided to leave at that point. The Server then gave us a half-hearted apology. Upon leaving, my son accidentally left his hat at the table so my wife went back to get it and the same server greeted her and asked if everything was okay because we left in a hurry, my wife told her that we left because it was taking her too long to take our order. Again, She gave a half-hearted apology and turned around and left.
That was the first time I had a negative experience at this location. The reason I left this review is because the server didn't even seem that apologetic. We went across the street to Texas Roadhouse, were sat within 5 minutes and within 5 minutes of being sat, we had our drinks delivered to the table and our order for food already placed. Texas Roadhouse was packed by way.
*Follow up - I just tried to provide details to Chili's and got the "page under construction error message".
Chili's - I am not trying to get a free meal or a discounted appetizer - I just wanted you to be aware that this occurred. My recommendation would be to have the manager's take some time and walk the floor to make sure that guests are being taken care of. For details - it was around 2:00pm on Saturday, March 1st. We were sat at the first table nearest the door (on the left hand side right when...
