I was thoroughly disappointed in my first and only experience at Tonti's Pizzeria. I am not one to write reviews online, and in fact never have before, but was so appalled at my experience that I feel this review is necessary. When I arrived at Tonti's, the staff was sitting around eating pizza at dirty tables; there was some cold cheese pizza on the counter that had obviously been sitting there for hours. When my boyfriend and I asked about their menu options we were told they were "close to closing", so "this is all we have except for some other pizza sitting over here" [on top of the oven]. For the record, they were over an hour from closing time. We agreed to split some pizza, ordered some beer, and sat down. The vibe was already far from professional, but nothing that I'd feel compelled to write a review over. Soon after we sat down, the empty restaurant was filled with the sounds of yelling and obscenities, coming from the clerk with whom we ordered our pizza. Again, not a big deal, but also not the kind of atmosphere that I would find acceptable at a restaurant. Soon after we were served our pizza, a troop of teenagers slumped in and stood around the counter, loudly talking to the staff about "wiping boogers on people", "getting laid", the hours of video games they'd accomplished, and so on. When I left, I said goodbye and told the staff and his friends that I'd like to give them some advice; I told them that when I was a teenager, I too often was unaware of how my behavior was perceived by other people, but how when working, you must be cognizant of the people around you. It would't have bothered me so much that there were people standing around chatting if it was't so loud and if they clerk had made a better impression earlier on. The clerk at Tonti's did not even respond to my comment and made a sarcastic remark as we walked out. I'm writing this review because I hope the owner of Tonti's sees this and helps her/his employees so that this doesn't happen again. I'm not trying to be punitive or picky, but I truly was off put enough to write a review when I have never done so before. This restaurant has potential, but there certainly needs to be more of an emphasis on training...
Read morePicked up a pizza last night for my kids and as I was leaving, the employee said "hey next time you're in, don't wear a mask. We don't make you do that here". So probably I should have given him his pizza back and said "I"m so glad we can say Merry Christmas again" but i was a little taken aback, and just left. When I got home, I realized that my order was wrong, so i called to let them know The employee was rude-said "that's not what's on your ticket" so I replied "well, you got my ticket wrong" and he said "what can i do to make you happy, because I don't feel like getting yelled at" (i wasn't yelling, ftr) so I said "It would make me happy if you didn't tell the next person in your store wearing a mask not to". He said, "I will say that, because it's unconstitutional" and then I feel bad admitting i threw a couple expletives his way about his choice of party to support and hung up. I'm posting this for a couple reasons and without judgement, as I realize that for many MAGA this review is welcome news! No masks at this restaurant! Maybe none of that socialist hand washing either!
For those who do prefer their food prepared by people wearing masks and gloves, heads up for you. This restaurant will not be wearing them. I'm glad that they put mushrooms all over my pizza, so my kid wouldn't eat their germy pie, that I certainly should have not paid for when I walked in and realized it was not a clean environment I guess it's my donation this week to local business.
Also posting so that if there's a covid outbreak in north parker, maybe it will help the infectious disease trackers.
I highly recommend this restaurant if you like the privilege of paying too much for your food, being treated rudely, and not knowing if your food handlers are showing appropriate precautions...
Read moreI saw a review of someone complaining about the atmosphere so I thought I’d set the record straight. It’s not a sit down restaurant, but there are plenty of places to sit. I wouldn’t say it’s uncomfortable at all. Me and my friends would always sit down and eat at Tontis. It’s actually a convenient place to hangout since they serve beer.
Most chain pizza places only offer one or two tables, but they prefer you don’t hang out there. There are plenty of tables at Totntis and it’s rarely crowded. The customer service is good. I’ve witnessed them giving free dressing to someone who complained.
Usually Tontis is A+ food. Though one time I ordered a slice and it was a little soggy. The pizza was still good. It’s definitely best when your order it fresh. That’s the case with most Pizza places. Not a place I go to frequently, but definitely nice to go every once in a while.
Edit: I’m seeing reviews mentioning that sometimes they overhear conservative people having conversations at Tontis and it makes them uncomfortable. It’s Parker, Colorado. What do you expect? I feel like some reviews have nothing to do with the food, but the conservative...
