We had an awful experience here. We went out to celebrate a birthday on 04/07/2023. Sundays are not busy and there were only a few tables. So we can't use the busy excuse. There were 4 of us. My wife ordered a virgin margarita (she was the DD) I'm not sure what they did but it was absolutely horrendous. She literally had one sip. The waitress saw it just sitting there and didn't ask if it was good or if my wife liked it (she probably knew it was awful) The birthday girl ordered apple cobbler as an entree because she was looking forward to something sweet. I ordered a burger. When the waitress took our order she asked if I wanted the burger "pink or no pink" I should have known better when I heard that. I spent over a decade as an executive chef and can tell you that's a total cop out. When the name of your establishment is Bourbon brews and burgers one would assume you can properly temp a burger. So I asked for mine to come out medium rare. They brought out our food. The birthday girls food did not come. I saw our waitress in the kitchen looking a little stifled. After gaining the courage she came to our table (while the rest of us were sitting there with our food) to tell the birthday girl that they were out of ice cream. Ok, things happen but Why was this not communicated when she ordered, she could have chosen something else? She reluctantly took the desert as the rest of us were sitting there with food. My burger was a hockey puck. No pink:) I think the chef needs to have his eyes checked. The fries I received were soggy and cold, just gross. We are starting to see a pattern here. Lazy entitled staff who don't give a darn. Again I was a chef for some time, these fries sat in a metal bowl under the heat lamp in the kitchen and were not made fresh. I told the waitress that my burger was way over cooked and that I didn't like the fries. She did ask if I wanted another one, obviously I did I was starving. She took the burger and fries and a few minutes later brought out a new one. This time it was cooked right but was missing some of the components that it was supposed to come with. She didn't bring me any fries just a burger on a wooden plank. Ahh the pattern again.. lazy and entitled. We had to ask her several times for the side of BBQ we asked for when we placed our order and had to ask several times for the Carmel sauce that's supposed to come with the desert..... lazy and entitled. At this point it was clear that the waitress didn't want anything to do with us. No refills on water, no more communication at all. She just brought the bill and that was the last we saw of her. Totally unacceptable. As we were leaving I saw a bunch of old half eaten food sitting under the hostess stand, not only is that disgusting but it's also a health code violation. It was at least consistent with the food and service I guess. Lazy and entitled.... What's sad is this place could have been great. The owner needs to find better people, who care. Plain and simple. I've seen it in kitchens before, lazy entitled staff are like an incurable cancer, it will just spread to the next person they hire. The only way to fix it is to start fresh. It is not my intention to bash anyone, please understand that this experience was especially bad all the way around. I'm committed to writing honest reviews and this is an honest review. We were kind and humble in response to a terrible experience but would not return unless management reached out to discuss and we felt that things would improve our next time through. As always Im committed to having constructive conversation should management choose to reach out. I will update this review if that happens. In the mean time I would suggest finding a different place....
Read moreIf you're looking for a great burger joint in Parker, be sure to tey Bourbon, Brews, and Burger. This new restaurant has quickly become a favorite of ours, and for good reason. We've been here a few times now, and each experience has been fantastic. During our most recent visit, I tried the Southwest Heat burger, which I have to say was very good and tasty. While it didn't pack the heat that I was expecting, it was still delicious. The brioche bun was fresh and delicious, and the bison patty that I ordered was cooked perfectly to medium. I appreciate that they offer the choice of beef, bison, or chicken on all of their burgers. My wife ordered The Signature 303 with chicken and she was equally impressed.
What sets Bourbon, Brews, and Burger apart from other burger joints is the attention to detail that they put into their sides. The onion rings are made fresh and are not the frozen kind that you'll find at other restaurants. The fries are tasty as well, and the side salads are fresh and delicious. My wife had the Cardini side salad and enjoyed it.
In addition to their great food, Bourbon, Brews, and Burger also has a nice selection of bourbon and whiskey, as well as other spirits that they use in their cocktails. It's clear that they take their drinks just as seriously as they take their food.
Overall, we highly recommend Bourbon, Brews, and Burger to anyone looking for a delicious burger in Parker. The food is great, the drinks are top-notch, and the service is always friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely...
Read moreWe arrived about 5 minutes after noon. There was a sign that said "Please Wait To Be Seated", but apparently that was not the case. We had one waitress bring us water within a minute of sitting down. About 10 minutes later, another waitress took our order. We ordered the shareable onion rings, asking they be brought with lunch. They were brought to put table about 20 minutes later. Then we finally got our soft drinks. The Mr. Pibb looked watered down, and really had no taste. The onion rings were actually delicious. So I was looking forward to the meal. We ordered the bison burger (I was surprised when she asked if I wanted it pink or gray (I said pink, medium rare)), the brisket and sausage. About 5 minutes to 1pm, another waitress brought our order. Then our waitress stopped by a couple of minutes later wondering how we got our meal and if it was correct (no, the A1 Steak Sauce was not brought). The bison burger was overcooked, tough making it difficult to eat. The fries and sweet potato waffle fries were fantastic. The sausage was pretty good. It was unfortunate - waiting 50 minutes for an overcooked burger. The restaurant was not that busy - maybe six tables, some had 5 people, others 2. The restaurant / bar itself was comfortable. The doors were open, allowing for fresh air and...
