The W Parkersburg — Restaurant in Parkersburg

For the drive that I made and the price, I was disappointed. I put an order in via text at 12:38pm and was told 15 minutes. I arrived almost 35 minutes later and the food wasn't done. I had to wait around 10 minutes if not longer. I wouldn't really call it a restaurant. Super small, cramped, and understaffed. I asked for the brisket as lean as possible and 85% of it was fat. I got 3 small pieces. The brisket was absolutely drowned in BBQ sauce. The pickles and the fries were way over seasoned with creole seasoning. The picture attached is the pile of fat from...

So good! First time eating from here and it was delicious. I had the steak bowl and it was a huge portion and really good. The bro had the pulled pork with fries, and though I didn't taste his sandwich I did taste the fries and they were super good - they had a little spice to them that made them really pop. My friends said their meals were great as well. We talked to one of the owners while we were there and he was really nice and friendly. The shop itself is cute and had a nice atmosphere....

I walked in, the cook yelled that he wanted people to put in their orders online. So I ordered a philly at 1130 am online, I asked the cook if I would get a text when it was ready, he said yes so i went back to work. By 1230 I hadn't received a text. I walked back down to the restaurant, they said they lost the order and I would receive a text when it would be ready... I'm still waiting for that text...
