Hello, we visited the Millers Ale House on 01/03/2020, which was actually my birthday. I even showed the bartender, Eric, my I.D and he said "Happy Birthday" and I appreciated that. We ordered two alcoholic beverages and we asked for a side of loaded fries. We did not want the full order as we had just come back from another restaurant; so we had just wanted a few drinks and a small side of loaded fries. Our order came through and our bartender gave us the full loaded fries and we questioned it. The bartender said that they can't do half orders of loaded fries and he quickly said that he would adjust our bill for the misinterpretation since we weren't corrected when we specifically ordered "side order of loaded fries". As we were wrapping up to leave we asked for the bill. We received the bill and noticed that the bill had not been adjusted. We did not even eat the whole plate of loaded fries...more than half was left on plate. We noticed the manager was a few feet away from us and we called him over. Around 9:30 pm, my girlfriend asked him "Hi, just wondering if you could help us with this. We talked to the bartender and he said he would adjust our bill but it wasn't". The manager (which we later came to find out his name was Greg) condescendingly said, " What did you expect to pay 99 cents? You think this is Burger King?". My girlfriend replied, " We did speak to the bartender and he said he would adjust the bill and we didn't even eat everything". My girlfriend pointed at the plate and Greg said, "I see that you guys didn't finish everything, so what are you guys expecting to pay 99 cents?". My girlfriend replied, "We were not expecting to pay 99 cents but we were expecting our bill to be adjusted. We don't have a problem paying our bill and I don't appreciate your attitude over a simple question". On top of this unprofessional encounter we quickly asked for his business card and he quickly replied that he did not have one. So then we asked for his name and he said he didn't have one as well. The only reason we got his name was because we talked to our bartender after this ordeal and asked for his name. Greg repeatedly refused to give us his name or business card and to try to get rid of us by saying he would take care of our bill. We never had an issue with paying, we just wanted our bill to be adjusted. We did not expect this unprofessional, condescending, and rude encounter with the manager. It was my birthday and we were just trying to have a celebratory day. We would appreciate if someone would reach out to us ASAP to make sure his actions and the way he treated us don't go unnoticed. We have always come to Millers Ale House at different locations and had never had an issue until last night. We have a copy of our receipt if needed...
Read moreLast evening, Saturday Sept 18th, myself and 2 friends went there for dinner and had the most horrible experience, especially with the Manager of the Restaurant. First, our waitress took about 25 minutes just to take our order. We all ordered the same thing , Burgers. It took her almost 35 minutes just to bring out our Food and when our Food arrived, my Burger and my friends Burger was Ice Cold. I caught the waitress and told her. She said that she would have them out on the fly. After 10 minutes, she returned with 1 hamburger for my Friend but, she forgot mine. She left the table and never returned. After another 10 minutes, I asked for the Manager. When the Guy Manager came over to the table, I calmly explained what was going on. In a very nasty attitude he asked me what he wanted me to do. I told him that I no longer wanted my Food because it's been over an hour and a half and that I would appreciate it if he would remove my Burger from the bill since I never received it. He then snapped at me saying, "Are you asking I remove it from your bill or, are you demanding that I remove it from the Bill. I just looked at him thinking they are the one's that messed up, not me." I answered, I'm asking you to please remove my Food from the bill and it would be nice if you did something for us considering we eat here all the time. The Manager had a very nasty attitude and was extremely rude to us. The waitress, only apologized once and never bothered to return to the table. For a Restaurant that I used to enjoy going, I'm no longer looking forward to eating there again. Management was wrong and so was our waitress. They both had bad attitudes, Food was Ice Cold and, out of the 3 of us, I never received my Food. I'm very Disappointed with them. The Ale House should definitely Fire the Manager , a tall heavyset guy. I would not recommend going to this Ale House to anyone. Find another Sports Bar. No one can really screw up Burgers but...
Read moreWas visiting my best friend in Boca and we decided to stop for a quick bite here at Boca Ale House only to find Miller's Ale House, and was a little leery but we were there and figured at least we would get something edible. I was definitely impressed and wonderfully surprised! The Ambiance had not changed that much it was still an ale house and a sports bar but with an upgrade. No more pool tables and video games which made dining more pleasurable sitting towards the back. We were seated immediately and our server, which I regretfully misplace her name, was warm and attentive. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose what best suited our palets. There were four of us and she explained what would be best for each individual in response to the question she was asked. My friend and I decided to split the chicken Philly and she even brought it out divided on individual plates. The chicken Philly was absolutely amazing as my friend agreed also. Of course my man couldn't refuse the ribs and was amazed at the portion and completely satisfied! French onion soup was presented perfectly and the recipe was perfection! Even the simple chicken sandwich with sauteed onions and a baked potato was very satisfying to my niece. We lived in Boca previously for 20 years and Patron the Boca Ale House regularly because the food was decent and the prices we're good. Miller Ale House was so much better!!! Maybe it was because we were on vacation or just really loving living in the moment but their food and the dining experience was just plain awesome! Way to go Miller's Ale House, you're not just another chain rolling out assembled but an ale house with some really terrific food...
