I hate to leave this review, but people should be aware. Overall the food was good (definitely on the pricier side), nothing wrong with their food. It was delicious, especially the beef short ribs, I highly recommend that. Service wasn't as good especially when it wasn't at a busy time at night (probably one or two tables other then us). One of our members got the incorrect order, and the server (was a lady) was very rude to her basically telling her that's not what she had said (I assumed she just misheard at first, but when she started arguing back it was unprofessional). The chef inside ended up coming out and correcting this. We also ordered drinks (alcoholic drinks) and it hadn't been served to us until the very end until we were done eating, so we couldn't really enjoy it with our meal. I forgot to mention the drinks got mixed up, and the lady came back and said it was given to the wrong people, so they ended up just switching it back. They did offer to remake it, but we didn't want to further bother them, so we just kept our drinks and just switched it (after having taken few sips of each others drinks, no problem). The lady started being less present at our table because of what happened, which we didn't really mind. So we decided to tip 10% in the end just because we weren't overall pleased with the service we received. Now, when we were hanging outside the restaurant just idling figuring out where to go next, and I don't know who this individual with glasses was (maybe manager or owner), he runs after us and asks us if we were unhappy, because we tipped 10%. I told him we were unhappy with the service we received, and he gave me smirk and was very displeased with us. I think that's completely unfair to us, because he was not at all present to witness everything that happened during our dining experience, and misjudged us. I read other reviews after, and noticed some of the other poor reviews mention something similar of this behavior. So for those reading this review, please be aware and read other similar reviews (1/2 star reviews) to get a better sense and to validate that it isn't a coincidence. We were looking forward coming back for lunch because the food was good and is one of the few korean restaurants in parsippany. Not so sure anymore if this is how the staff and owner/management judge and treat people after a...

My hands are still shaking as I type this message. I’ve never had such an awful dining experience-period. First, the restaurant was apparently understaffed. We waited for 5 minutes to seated (there were only 7 tables of guests) and 15 minutes to get our menus (I had to go after two servers to get menus). We were seated to two tables of BBQ diners and the smoke was suffocating (the vent over the tables, in my opinion, was not working). Our daughter was suffering from heavy smoke and another five minutes later I decided to ask to be seated to an emptier corner of the restaurant. The manage turned me down- to my surprise, saying that they’re busy. I then offered to move the glasses and menus ourselves to make the change easier for them. The manager said no again, saying that they valued their service (I still don’t know how this is good service when customers’ request is not honored). Desperately, I told him my daughter can’t put up with the smoke any longer so we’ll have to leave for a different restaurant. The manager hesitated, and with a troubled look, he agreed to move us. With all honesty, this set a bad tone for the entire dining experience. At the end, we left a 10% tip on the tab. The manager went after us, interrogating us why I left such a bad tip. I recounted the entire saga, and he said “didn’t I move you at the end?”. Speechless, definitely in shock, I said “and that’s the tip you get for giving me such a hard time after such a drama”. The manager then said, we are on the daily news for the most authentic Korean food in town…. Again, you could see how shocked and disgusted I was. There were other poignant conversations which I will no go in details. All I’m saying is I was not happy with the entire experience at all. I do not recommend it, but I definitely wish you...

We love Korean BBQ and heard about this place from a friend who very highly recommended to try this Korean BBQ restaurant in the middle of New Jersey. We are mostly only giving three stars because one of the servers, or he might have been the manager, overcooked our barbecue when we came last week. We felt a little embarrassed to tell him because he was very nice but he really burnt our chicken and especially our spicy pork which we love so much, especially my wife. Overall, the food was good though. My wife loved her cocktail. Our calamari was delicious and that dipping sauce was great. The pancake was spectacular and our japchee noodles were equally spectacular with a great smoky wok finish. The beef in our combination was melt in your mouth good, but when it came to the chicken and pork you could see a lack of proper preparation when grilling it properly. The sauces their soybean sauce for the lettuce wraps is to die for and the best I have ever had. It is just that we are in the hospitality business and didn't want to make a fuss and we felt bad saying anything to the server, so we just wanted to write this review to let you know. I am a chef myself and know how the difference between burning and caramelization. We watched him do the same to other tables which is very unfortunate and really must be addressed. This kind of poor execution can really create a bad reputation quickly. Restaurant is noticeably clean though and would definitely be willing to try again, but will insist on cooking...
