Palermo's Pizzeria & Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Parsippany-Troy Hills

I have ordered pizza three separate times and I’m not sure if they can’t read or don’t understand English but it’s very upsetting to order pizza with light sauce and lightly done to have it delivered to your door burnt to a crisp and I mean dark burnt you think ordering in person would be better right? Nope they still burn it and they just don’t seem to care and it’s a real shame but I gave them plenty of chances and the worst is being called up asking if I was going to leave a tip for the delivery person yes I was and had left a tip for the delivery person but you don’t call the customer asking that so rude and not very professional and yet the delivery driver shows up and says you tipped me right? Why yes I did go talk to your boss there are a lot of pizza places out there and I don’t need to be harassed over a tip which Was in place when ordering if I could give 0 stars I would

New to the area and still hunting for our go to pizza spot, but this one won't be it. Shame because it's conveniently located with ample parking. The customer service was truly excellent too, very helpful during the order and the pick up process. The restaurant itself is nice inside; it's clean and pleasantly decorated. But the pizza was just not good at all. The crust was soggy (we had trouble cutting the slices all the way through at home). The sauce, which was a specialty sauce, was really bland with no fresh herbs or distinctive flavor to it at all. Disappointingly, all the cheese had also slid to one side of the box, but since this was a carry out order I'll chalk that aspect up to my own carelessness. We will probably give it one more try based on other reviews, but next time just grab slices at the counter rather than order...

Stopped by Palermo's with the family for the first time. We wanted to grab a regular pie, but ended up trying out a Fat Sandwich, a large pie, a few other slices, and a Caesar salad. The pizza was fantastic and their cheese is delicious. The sandwich was very good and the salad was one of the best I've ever had.

We dined in and the staff was very accommodating. We also spoke with the owner who was very helpful and friendly.
