Two stars when I really want to give none. Two becuase the first time my family and I ordered the pizza was really good! It was everything you wanted in a pizza. My family and I enjoyed it very much. 0 stars because the second time I ordered the cheese had a funky smell and a bad taste. Nothing like the first time. I thought maybe it was just me. So I had a family member smell and taste it. They also said it smelled weird. Now, I don’t enjoy complaining or writing negativity. Especially when this is a place where people make money to make a living. I thought maybe they’re having a bad day and the cheese was just bad. So I decided to give them a call. I was very nice on the phone. Honestly I would not have minded waiting for a new pizza or getting a refund. Whatever was better for them. But the man on the phone (was not rude) went on about how no one has complained and that even he had a slice that morning and nothing tasted weird. While he spoke I sniffed my pizza again and got frustrated. My pizza was MOST DEFINITELY bad! I didn’t get an apology or a choice of refund or new pizza. So I just said ok thanks, and hung up. Maybe I was being too nice. Honestly it’s only food. But it’s also food I paid for.... So next day I told myself I’d give it another try. I went to heat up a slice. I could barely get it near my nose without wanting to gag. I was right. And now a full box of pizza is in the garbage and this restaurant no longer has my service. The smell was so strong and the taste of bad cheese was awful. I felt like I would actually get sick from it. HORRIBLE.
Please keep up with your expiration days and please... just because you haven’t gotten any complaints doesn’t mean my complaint was invalid. Taking one customer seriously is just as necessary as taking a group complaint.

They cancelled my order and never called me or anything, I had to find out for myself after about an hour of waiting for my food and had to wait another hour to order from somewhere else. I'm not sure why they would do this, maybe they only take very large orders and screw over everyone else who is out of range or that they just don't feel like delivering to. Or maybe they post themselves slightly out of range just for more exposure. I don't believe that it's due to incompetence because I'm sure they would have realized by now that they are posted all over areas they claim are out of range. Anyway, it's unethical and just a piss poor way to gain more exposure for their business. My review is not for the food, I'm sure it's fine based on other reviews, but for the service and business practices. Read moreMy family have been patrons of Valentino's for at least 15 years. The food has usually been exceptional. However, since dealing with a new, younger manager/owner?, the service and attention to detail is severely lacking. The father was always generous and we can't hold any complaints against him.
The primary reason for this 1 star review is because the customer service was not handled professionally. My dad has been sick and is on a really strict diet and it's hard for them to order from a place. My parents placed a custom order and did get what they asked for. It's okay to make mistakes. It's not okay to treat your customers poorly.
My parents were told not to return. For us, that isn't the way to treat your regular customers. Sorry that my parents tried to help.
