Upon hearing the name, you'd think it might be a pizza joint, or a restaurant that focuses on bread. But when you look into the restaurant, you see a giant neon taco and you figure it's actually Mexican food. Their menu consists of tacos, burritos, bowls, tortas and various sides that can also be considered meals. Initially I thought it reminded me of chipotle, because of the way you choose a meat and build your meal around a taco, burrito or bowl. The beer battered fries caught my eye and I decided to try their carne asada fries, to remind me of my college days. I went for the large since I planned to share, and the size did not disappoint! I was very happy with the amount of food we received and loved how the fries looked like little crescents (It was like a steak fry and a wedge had a baby)! The fries were delicious. The carne asada was well seasoned, flavorful and tender. I loved how the fries were drizzled with nacho cheese sauce and all the different aioli's created a fiesta in my mouth. I'm interested in trying their giant burritos when I get a chance. I'll just have a hard time choosing between the carne asada fries or a new menu item!

This place has high quality food. Walked over because a friend told me he was super jealous that this new location was so close to me and he loved their food. So I had to try it and make him more jealous with pictures. I had the chicken burrito and the house special taco. Both were really good. The chicken was flavorful and so were the rice and beans. The house special taco was real good too. The flour tortilla was soft and strong enough to hold the mountain of ingredients inside. The steak was flavorful and very tender and all th veggies were fresh and delicious. I tried both salsas too. The roja has a nice spice to it and the verde has a great flavor. Think I liked the verde the most. Update: I still agree with all the above statements. Carnitas and salsa verde is still the best combination. The house taco, I hate to admit, is ridiculously good.

I came here for a Yelp event and got a free crispy chicken burrito. Although it wouldn’t be the type of burrito I’d normally order, I quite enjoyed it! There were tons of fresh veggies so it was kinda like a fried chicken salad with a side of rice and beans wrapped in a tortilla. I also got an order of the carne asada (beer battered) fries and though it wasn’t quite what I was expecting, it was delicious. The fries are crispy potato wedges smothered in nacho cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, and carne asada. The portions are huge so definitely come hungry. The staff were friendly and the chef was wearing a mask. There’s indoor and outdoor seating available.

I ordered $90 worth of food last evening for my mother's birthday. All the reviews were good, so we gave it a try. When I looked up their site to online order it was through Postmates. First, I was there as soon as I was notified my order was ready. The woman at the register asked for my name. I gave it to her. She said there was no order and asked me to sit and wait. So I did. After almost 10 mins, I told her again that I was notified my order was ready. And gave her the order number. And it was already on the counter. I was a little upset because I specifically asked her if that was mine twice. But I got over it, and went home. We opened the bag to find 4 items missing and one of the items was not something we ordered. I immediately called them. He did offer to remake the food or refund the money, but we live 45 mins away and were starving so I opted for a refund of just the items we were missing. He asked me to call back in 15 mins because the person to do it was on break. I called back, and she said that because I used Postmates, she couldn't help me at all. I contacted Postmates and they finally got back to me only to tell me because it was pick up, they couldn't do anything about it. The food was not even that good. Guacamole had no taste at all! The bowl had maybe a table spoon of rice. The quesadilla was the only thing was decent. Very unhappy with this place...

After a long day at Universal Studios, we saw on the internet that Brick and Flour was open till 10 pm. We arrived at 9:30. I apologized to the counter person for being late diners, but he didn't even acknowledge my comment. We tried to place our order at the kiosk, but unfortunately it was not working. We asked if we could place our order at the counter. Even though they weren't closing for half an hour, he was already counting the cash from the register. Seeing that, we decided to pay by card rather than cash as we had planned. We ordered two burritos and two tacos. After we placed the order, he informed us that there was no more dining in. It was apparent that we were not welcome. At that point, we just wanted to get our food and go. Once we were in our car, we opened our food. The food was literally dripping with grease. It was incredibly messy to eat and the amount of grease made it inedible after just a few bites. At the end of the day we spent $40 on food we ended up tossing in the trash.

We will not be coming back. There is a Brick and Flour in Valencia where we've dined at with outstanding customer service; perhaps this location could learn...
