There is nothing convenient about this place. There is very little street parking. The restaurant is quite small. The line was long to order. 11 people in front of me. Someone may want to consider hiring more than 4 employees to work the lunch rush. It took me 35 minutes to get my food. My dogs were mixed up. And the only vegetarian dog they have is an 'apple vegetarian dog'. It was weird. The sweet potato fries were greasy. The ranch dressing didn't taste like ranch. The bratwurst was good but the sprinkling of kraut was quite enough. $28 for 2 dogs, 2 fries and 2 drinks.

Placed orders for two breakfast burritos - Haus and bronco. Picked up order and left and started eating, halfway through the burrito, realized that there were no tator tots and checked the other burrito and there were no tator tots as well. While I was waiting for my order, I heard the cook asking the front cashier what goes in the burritos. Called and they said I could bring them back but that is a waste of my time and gas and energy. It would be better to train the cook or have them refer to a recipe if they don’t know what goes into the food items. I don’t think I’ll be back.

first time to dog Haus and I was definitely impressed, fair prices for pretty good food but it's not going to blow you away. my favorite items were the t-mex sausage and the chili cheese tots, both were really good. the onion rings we're a definite let down, I would avoid them and get the tots instead. there's not a lot of seating inside but there's more outside if need be. there's a structure to park below that seems like you might not be able to park there but you can if you're going to dog Haus.

the bruins beat the dogs (washington huskies) on friday 11/22, what better way to celebrate the winning by eating (hot) dogs! i've been meaning to try dog haus for the longest time and was so glad to bring a group of 8 for the following reasons:

  1. food: from king's hawaiian hot dog buns to chili cheese served in a fritos bag to fried eggs on hot dogs i was definitely blown away by the presentation! i was surprised how good the hot dogs were standalone. and who doesn't love sweet potato tater tots?
  2. ambiance: dj spinning music on friday night was awesome. the dj was having a blast and so were we! the outdoor patio communal seating and patio heaters set the perfect biergarten ambiance. someone was celebrating a birthday and they gave us cake! things can get friendly real fast ;)
  3. drinks: plenty of poison to choose from. the cashier wasn't kidding about the full bar! he asked me what i normally like to drink and without hesitation i said "tequila" and he proceeded to make me a deliciously crisp refreshing citrus tequila cocktail in less than a minute!
  4. location: sizable location with plenty of parking around the restaurant. it's really a hidden gem in pasadena.

until this day the boys won't stop raving about the dog haus! we'll be...

So most of the time, customer service is great here. Sometimes though, it seems like they're not really on top of things. For example, I submitted an online order today so I could hopefully grab and go and have time still to eat between meetings. When I got there, turns out they weren't even logged into chow now so it was the same as me ordering there. After that, when my order was done, I don't think my name was called out or it was so quietly said that I would have had to have been standing directly in front of them so the food essentially sat there for a good ten minutes. Even after approaching the counter, no one bothered asking me if I needed help until 5 min later. Now you might say, gosh this guy has high expectations, but come on, there's 4-5 guys on the other side of this counter including the guy who gave me my receipt. So by now, the food is barely warm and I have no time to eat.

Pretty much decided to put this experience in a review since it's pretty absurd to me compared to all the other perfectly good times...

I order from the DogHaus chain whenever I have big meetings which request me to bring some kind of food to share. I have never been disappointed and they always satisfied me and the people I share this with.

One kind cool thing they do here is that when you place a big order, they give you a big box that you can fold into a big display board. Each of your order is also packed into their own box, and on that box, there is a space where they can write what the order is so you know what it is without opening the box. Whenever I have an order with them, I take a menu, too because the contents of each order is also listed on it- you'll know exactly what youre getting in each bite.

They use Hawaiian bread for all of their burgers and sausages; which also makes it very easy to share because you can evenly cut it just based off the cuts on the bread.

Parking can be easily accessed at the back of the building or on the street. The street does go into a residential neighborhood, so be mindful of streets that...
