Frank's Grill — Restaurant in Pasadena

First off I knew it was gonna be some issues but I said the other Franks Grill was closed at the time and always has a cool vibe to it. NOT THIS ONE this one here I walked in grab a menu then proceed to the counter where there’s two guys talking as I stand there waiting to place my order two minutes goes by finally, a waiter that walked in with me, took my order. I go back to my car for 10 minutes to wait on my order. The place looked like no workers only cooks available. Came back in workers was moving around like everyone was on break at the same time I sat down two minutes later your order is ready over here. Get home and This is what I get. Never Again. No real potatoes this something I could’ve ordered at Denny’s the hash browns was burnt. Never Again will I come here not sure how they got 4.5 star if ZERO had a star that would be by STAR...

Was really disappointed with breakfast. Even though most of the time we come every thing is always on point bit not this time. I decided to give the steak n eggs a try. While the menu said 10oz ny/sirloin strip they brought me a slab of skirt steak also asking for a medium rare decided to still eat,it was over cooked meat was tough as a rock. Didn't eat it so I ate just biscuits and gravy. Told the lady at the register and all she could say was oh I'm sorry the owner is the one who orders the "steak" and that's what he gets now. So I said we'll it says NY strip n ur menu so yall should honor that. Keep n mind the plate is 20$ all she could do was take 4 dollars of my total bill of my family and I. My boyfriend and I were excited to try a new breakfast place. We left extremely disappointed. It took at least 10 minutes, probably closer to 15 for anyone to even acknowledge us. Had to ask for refills, was told I couldn’t substitute ham instead of sausage which I’ve never been told before at any restaurant. I would’ve gladly paid an up charge if needed. So the service sucked and then the food was about as bad as the service. Rubbery chicken, gravy had no flavor, and my waffle was underdone. I didn’t even bother asking to send anything back because I had already been there nearly an hour waiting to even get my food. I love supporting local businesses and I’m not one to write bad reviews but I would give this place zero stars if I could. Don’t waste your time...
