⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you haven’t tried Layne’s Chicken, you’re truly missing out on one of the best culinary experiences around! From the moment you step into the restaurant, the aroma of perfectly cooked chicken envelops you, setting the stage for a delicious meal.
The Chicken Let’s talk about the star of the show: the chicken! It is crispy on the outside and unbelievably juicy on the inside. Each bite is bursting with flavor that dances on your taste buds. Whether you go for the classic hand-breaded tenders or the succulent whole fried chicken, you cannot go wrong. The seasoning is absolutely spot-on, delivering just the right balance of spices that leave you wanting more.
The Sides Don’t even get me started on the sides—oh my goodness! The fries are golden and crispy, with a perfect amount of salt that enhances their taste. And let’s not overlook the famous ranch dressing; it's creamy, flavorful, and pairs exceptionally well with everything. Trust me, you’ll want to dunk everything in it!
Service & Atmosphere The service at Layne's is top-notch! The staff members are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to make great recommendations. It creates a warm atmosphere where you feel like part of a family. The vibe is casual and inviting, making it a perfect spot for any occasion—whether you're grabbing a quick bite or dining with friends and family.

Read moreI typically don't write reviews...but this place was shockingly bad for how it is advertised. Layne's is known best for being the first in the "chicken finger" game, beating Cain's by something like a full year or more...however, in literally every possible respect, Cain's is a better choice, whether you are comparing price points or quality or service. My visit was drive-thru, so I cannot speak so much to the interior cleanliness/atmosphere...but the take-out line we were in was far slower than any other fast food restaurant around...even Sonic is faster than this was. Upon arriving at the window to pay for my order, the young lady who was operating that station gave me no greeting, no confirmation of my order, and definitely nothing approaching a pleasant demeanor...simply a flat statement of my order's price. The chicken fingers were tiny, chewy, and either burnt or overdone to the point of resembling dog treats. The sauce, while generic and plain, was dried to the lid of the small container, indicating storage in a cold environment for extended periods. The optional ranch sauce was little more than an opaque white water with the occasional peppercorn flake. The "meal" comes with a single piece of "texas toast" which was stale, cold, and prepared without every having known what butter or oil even looks like. The fries were indistinguishable from Ore-Ida's crinkle cut fries, and were cold, limp, totally unseasoned, and the portion was what one would expect in a kid's meal. There was no option for cole slaw (or any other side). In short, Layne's needs a lot of work to come close to approaching the quality or class of the other chicken...
Read moreI recently visited Laney’s Finger Chicken and decided to try a variety of their offerings. I ordered the five-finger combo, two three-finger combos, a four-finger combo, the finger chicken sandwich with bacon, and the spicy finger combo. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations.
What could be improved: -Bacon Sandwich: The bacon was too chewy and raw, lacking the crunch that I enjoy. -Sauces: The Lane sauce was overpoweringly peppery, and the ranch, while tasty, was too liquidy. Price and Quantity: For the price, the quantity felt a bit overpriced.
What I liked: Fries: The fries were quite good, better than those at other similar restaurants. Spicy Finger Combo: This was pretty good, though the spice didn’t kick in until a few bites in.
I had informed the staff that I was excited to leave a review, but my experience didn’t go as planned. While I believe they might have been having an off day, I must be honest and say that overall, the food was disappointing. I hope to give them another chance in the future and see if there are improvements. For now, I cannot recommend Laney’s...
