MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Pasadena

This is more of an update than a full review (see my previous posts for MOD.)

My last review of MOD was two years ago, and nothing much has changed, with one BIG exception. In my last post I bemoaned the loss of anchovies on the list of available toppers. Well, I'm pleased to report the return of those flavorful little creatures which give Caesar dressing its unique flavor. And it seems to be at all locations, at least the several I visit.

Of course, we can't have everything. With the return of the anchovies, we suffered the loss of the garlic butter drizzle. C'est la vie. I'll accept the trade!

And for those of you who don't get the whole anchovy thing, you probably have never actually tasted them on a nice, hot pizza. You've only experienced the aroma of uncooked anchovy, which, admittedly, is sort of unpleasant. So, the next time you go to MOD, have them put an avchovy on your pizza, off to the side, and if you find it not to your liking, the rest of the pizza will not have suffered. At least give pizza chants...

Visited this place July 29, 2016 and it was the worst experience I've had at a Mod Pizza. Several of the pizza's apparently fell apart in a oven and it took them several minutes to tell us that there was a problem and they had to remake the pizzas. 7 - 10 minutes go by and no pizzas come out, so I asked the worker what was going on and she indicated that they hadn't even starting remaking the pizza yet because they had to figure out what was on it. Why not just ask me? At that point, I requested a refund because I couldn't wait any longer.

It seems their standard policy should be to remake pizzas they mess up before taking additional orders, but I guess that's not the case. They kept taking orders and fulling other people's orders before remaking the ones they messed up. Also, when we got back to the office we discovered that they had burned my coworker's pizza.

I’m Heaven today may15th between 8:45 and 9:15 I went to this pizza place to get a order corrected from yesterday I called to confirm that everything was still OK for me to come I spoke to Hailey she was very friendly very respectful great customer service and this white lady with brown hair slim was so disrespectful I felt horrible about even coming like I was a bother me and my husband was going to sit down and eat but the comments and stares she gave literally almost had me in tears she smacked her lips she mumbled hateful words I just listened and said nothing we had to leave my husband who’s a car salesman was dressed but me I was dressed like I rolled out of bed pregnant because I am and sick I had face cream on my face she wouldn’t stop with ugly stairs I’m guessing she was the other manager other then that others were friendly but again I was pushed right out the door I don’t recommend...
