NAM Noodles and More Pasadena — Restaurant in Pasadena

Saw two german cockroaches moving around near where we were seated, and one more dead on the floor. We were sort of near the front door. I was convinced not to leave after seeing the cockroaches. Ate stir fry, it was pretty good, and there were plenty of leftovers for us to take home. Not expensive at all. Has two arcade video games in the establishment, one is shorter, and is for younger children. (Or they are for Peter Dinklage. I don't know.) The game for taller people is Street Fighter 2. Which is sweet. So yeah, the food was pretty good and was not overpriced, and I love video games, but I don't wanna eat from somewhere that has a bug problem, if they have one hopefully they will get rid of them.

Update- We have visited this restaurant a few times after this incident. The food is always delicious, and I have not seen any more roaches in my more recent visits. The only videogame that actually works is the smaller one for smaller people. The game is Rage. The larger videogame, Street Fighter 2, was broken by people previously misusing it. Another thing that I really like about this restaurant, is that they have a beverage freezer with all kinds of affordable drinks in it. Iced coffee, organic juices, tea, and some soft drinks that are not on the menu. I am raising my rating from three stars...

Finally got a chance to try this place out today. Due to the managers lack of customer service skills I won’t be back. The manager yelled at my kids twice so loud due to my kids touching a button of their fridge. I told him not to yell at them and that I will let my toddlers know that is not okay to be touching something in the restaurant. I was trying to order my food when all this was happening. He said okay I get it but did not apologize. The only reason I’m giving two stars is due to the food being good. —- In response to your comment since I can not reply, you yelled at my children. Period that’s not up for debate. You obviously need social skills and learn to communicate with people to run a business. Nobody has ever yelled at my children like the way YOU did today. Beware people this is not a kid...

This place has some very delicious Ramen. I came here to eat with my wife and the service was excellent. The staff wasn't pushy or in a big hurry for us to order. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxed. The food was excellent. I've been to otsuka in baybrook mall and jinya by nasa and NAM is, in my opinion better than otsuka and on par with jinya. The beef Ramen that I had was flavorful and plentiful. My wife couldn't stop having about the shrimp Ramen. The eggs were boiled to perfection. The portions were generous and the meats were tender. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the wanton soup. It's not the best I've ever had. In my opinion, the wanton soup at 888 is better. But that would be me being picky. Overall NAM is a great place to eat, talk and relax. With good food and...
