I love Olive Garden. However, this review is only for the one on Fairmont in Pasadena, TX & excludes all the other locations. I requested a booth in the bar area after arriving an hour before they closed. At my request, I was seated where I could watch the Astros vs Yankees for their last playoff game. 2 people were sitting at the bar watching the game & conversing with the bartender. I ordered their unbelievably delicious stuff ziti fritta, along with chicken gnocchi soup, chicken carbonara, and their perfectly made Peach Bellini Tea. I did not mind waiting for their garlic bread to finish baking because it was delivered a few minutes later warm & very soft. When the Astros were ahead, the bartender said "I hope the Astros lose so he would not lose his bet against them." When the teams where tied, he said, "the Astros are going to lose". The man sitting at the bar left the restaurant & the woman went to the restroom. The bartender changed the tv to the Dolphins football game. I asked him, "why he changed the channel". He said it was a commercial break and he liked the Dolphins. The manager told him to change the tv back to the Astros game. He was not happy about it. When the woman came back to the bar, the bartender complained about what happened to get her support. She then left the restaurant. Although the food was very good, I felt very uncomfortable eating there and quickily finished my meal. People like me who eat at the bar want to watch the game and root for their home team. They don't want to hear the bartender badgering their favorite home team. He should have just kept his comments to himself. I do not think I will return to that location again. There are plenty of other locations, I can sit at the bar and enjoy eating a wonderful meal while rooting for my favorite team.

A Memorable Olive Garden Night with Server Seth Dinner at Olive Garden with my aunt and uncle was pure joy, thanks to our server, Seth. His warm smile and genuine welcome instantly made us feel special. The Never Ending Pasta Bowl was fantastic—my fettuccine alfredo was creamy bliss, my uncle’s spaghetti with meat sauce was robust, and my aunt loved her vibrant rigatoni marinara. The unlimited soup, salad, and garlicky breadsticks were perfect, with Seth keeping them coming effortlessly. Seth’s service was exceptional. He anticipated every need, joking about “sauce attacks” when my aunt dropped a napkin and piling on Parmesan for my uncle’s “cheese mountain.” His playful stories had us laughing, and his attentiveness left us all smiling. The tiramisu dessert was a sweet finish, and Seth’s suggestion for a post-dinner stroll capped a perfect night. Olive Garden, Seth’s a keeper! Five stars—we’ll be back for him.

Not all locations do everything right but this one certainly did on this visit! Seated immediately for an early dinner and greeted by host server Saniyah, who come to find out was a new hire only about 4 days in but it seemed like she'd been on staff for a lot longer. Saniyah answered all questions, was very efficient in all aspects as well as taking a moment to make sure my 93 year old neighbor had everything she needed. The food doesn't seem to change across all locations insofar as quality and quantity so basically, delicious. The restaurant was clean and organized and front of house manager Emily did a fantastic job stopping by to check on us and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy this visit as well so my elderly neighbor definitely had a wonderful dining experience!

We got there 10 minutes before there lunch special were finished. If the server would of gotten there we would of not missed it. Well he took our drink order then came back to our order. When salad was brought we ask for more napkins and extra lemons, never brought it...brought our food, again ask for napkins and lemons waited another five minutes to bring...looking for him to get more tea, so we asked another server...when he was told he came to table ask what we needed. But then when we would a ask for something, his attitude changed. I ask him if he got mad cause we asked another server if he could help us. He said no ge didn't two times. But we can tell he changed. He only asked if everything was ok or needed anything when we would ask him for something. We know he works on this and has a few customers but if he wants to get tips then he needs to service the coustomers... happy not with a frown face. I told him to slow down and pay attention to his customers...that we knew he was busy...if it's to much for him then he needs to talk to his manager. He was asked to bring us two teas to go and he brings us for here. I wanted to order the five dollar special to go so we asked him what they were and his opinion on which he would eat. Thar way we would know what to get. When he brought it to table in a bag...I didn't check it right away but I did a d it wasn't what I ordered. So I called him and told him and he said oh think we dont have it...how can he give me something I didn't order...he said let me check. .was going to take the bag bag and I said no leave it here...was none...is my cousin said to go ahead and take it. .ok fine. She asked for a container and bag to take her food and he brought a container only...this was getting out of hand, so my cousin went to ask for a manager and was told manager would go to the table...when she came we both explain about the service of the server, but like she didn't care or he had complains before. Dont know...manager took off the five dollar order to go. We were not asking to give us anything other than talk to the server and explain what was going on...manager ask how we pay if card then we could use the machine in table. I was upset how we were served that I didn't want to leave a tip so my cousin left a cash tip on table for him.. all we wanted to feel welcome in that place. Hadn't been out to eat anywhere cause of the pandemic. Now that we finally decide to eat out and this happened, I don't think I will go back there. Maybe a different one.. all this pandemic has had a toll on everyone, it horrible. But he needs to take care of his job. He has to survive without a job will be bad for him... I do wish him the best..just treat and listen closely to his customers. Thankyou for reading my comment. Gid...

I got a waitress that is either new, or just doesn't care about her job. She was attentive at first, got my drink order and even brought out breadsticks while I waited for the other members of my party (who accidentally went to another Olive Garden). I finished my drink and tried to wave her down several times for a refill but she just kept walking looking lost. My party arrived and so did our waitress asking if they were ready to order. They hadn't even sat down yet. She started to walk away but I thrust my glass at her, asking for water. She nodded and ran, then began wondering around again looking lost. Finally she brought me a new water when everyone was ready to order. I asked for extra olives and tomatoes on the side for my salad. She brought out the salad with extra tomatoes no olives and one single olive in the entire salad. Whatever, I didn't say anything. We asked questions about the food and she knew nothing. She would point at the menu and say things like you can find all the specials in there. If you want dessert, don't order it through me, it's all in that computer at your table. It orders desserts. The next time she offered me a refill was after we paid and were about to leave. To top it all off, she did not give us mints. Those are why I go to Olive Garden! I know I can get an entire box of them for a $1 at HEB, but it's not the same. The mints are a part of the Olive Garden experience.

Otherwise, the place was clean. Tables were bussed almost faster then people could leave. Bathrooms were clean and had...
