Cycle Gear — Local services in Pasadena

I've had my share of visiting a few different cycle gear locations. Each one is different in terms of their stock, customer service and overall experience you'll get when visiting. Until now, most stores have been "meh" at best.

Hands down, the Pasadena location is EXACTLY what I expect from a Cycle Gear. Friendly, on point with their recommendations, super helpful, knowledgeable, and understand what it means to reach service of excellence.

I usually shop online, and reserve in store. As I tend to not like being bothered with poor service and an overly chatty employee. As this usually leads to random asks and random sales...

HOWEVER!! Matt, picked up the phone. Called me prior to me heading over to the store. He asked me if I had any questions, explained to me what I would be getting with this product, as it was a limited edition item. And then gauged to see how committed I was to my sale. I told him and thanked him for his follow up . He reassured me that my item was received and ready for pick up. Just minutes after I got the email. What timing. Made me feel great as inventory issues are common in the Cycle Gears I've shopped at. What stuck with me was this: He was not only able to attend to my needs through my item reserved but he ensure he was attending to all needs of current and future customers by asking for the sale. What a boss move! And way to set that WOW factor.

Arriving in store, the entire team, including Matt, were prompt, attentive through greeting and opening remarks, and willing to assist. Uber nice and helpful. Helped me get my helmet, (which was already put aside with my name on it) installed my bluetooth,and managed the foot traffic of the store! This team needs recognition beyond just a review. I hope anyone who is thinking of going to this Cycle Gear, will go. The store is super clean, large, and well stocked. Topped off with the amazing service all riders expect, is just too hard to pass up. See y'all on...

What a great shop and amazing staff at Pasadena cyclegear. John, Alex, Aleena, and Ryan were very helpful in finding my first helmet and gloves. My visit with them went flawless. John and Alex are very knowledgeable and provided A++++ suggestions when picking out the right gear for my needs. Thank you so much John for the great recommendations and help with finding the perfect helmet, Alex for the most perfect install of my cardo on the helmet (the MOST attention to every detail), Aleena and Ryan for helping me try on everything and makin me feel comfortable and educated with all the products that I was curious about. Exceptional Store, Exceptional Crew!!!!! Ryan, the manager at this location is an unrivaled virtuoso!!.. I've been a customer if your for quite a few years now, and Cycle Gear, specially at this location has meet an exceeded my expectations as a customer, Ryan's skills in mounting my expensive Metzeler tire I purchased from Cycle Gear were done with absolute surgical precision.. !! As an old time motorcyclist I can say Ryan's skill in balancing my newly installed tires were beyond his years. Those guys deserve a raise!!.. or at least a full week's paid vacation..!!

They definitely deserve both!!!

Kudos to the Cycle Gear HR for hiring such FINE young people.
