The Sonic behind Walmart on Rowlett needs constant supervision. When they are on their own, they act up. I love the tasty food & drinks so once in a while I think of Sonic, but with it comes a dread of terrible customer service. This last visit was the last straw. We were ordering, and after every item, "anything else? " I'd mentioned a few times that there are a few more items, but still after every item, "anything else?" Ridiculous. Then I was down to the last item. She says "anything else" I say one more thing. She gives my total & leaves. I tried to get her back, but she was gone. So, I was gone. I asked hubby if he knew of another Sonic. He did. On Fairmont. We went there sort of dreading a similar experience, but it was as different as night & day. Jonea came on the mike and I could feel the respect & kindness. I asked to speak to her manager. I believe it was Paul. I thanked him for hiring such a kind & helpful young lady. I explained our prior experience. He said he would let the store manager know. Next, the store manager came out & explained that they are currently without a manager. Read moreI understand that people have a bad day, but just had to deal with the most Rude cashier I have ever had to deal with at a restaurant or fast food place, including McDonald’s!!! I drove up, and when she asked for the payment it was rude with her back to me, like she didn’t have time for us. Rolled her eyes when I told her I had a gift card to pay with and the remaining would be cash. She said they don’t do that. I’m like well I know how much remaining I have on here and want to pay that and the remaining cash. She tried the remaining amount twice, and said it’s declined.. which I don’t think she even tried. Then looked at me like well give my food back. I said never mind I’ll pay with a debit card and she rolled her eyes once again. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE WHAT SO EVER!! and as I drove off with my kids after being treated that way, my daughter asked why she was acting that way. (With out me even saying anything) that is how i Knew it wasn’t just me. That’s the way you are not supposed to treat people. Regardless of how frustrated you are, you don’t take it out on others. Read moreThis was the third time I have been there. It is difficult to imagine screwing up a grilled cheese and tomato sandwich but 3 times in 3 visits this Sonic staff does it! The description is grilled cheese cut in half with tomato slices. I ordered 4 sandwiches with extra tomatoes. The order screen said "Angel is on the way." 10 minutes later I ask where my sandwiches are and the answer is "Sorry we missed your order!"Two came with no tomato. One came with a single slice of tomato. One came with a torn piece of tomato slice. None of the sandwiches were cut in half. And it gets worse! I ask to have the order replaced and they said "We will refund your money." I said I had used a card. They said "The refund could take up to 10 days!" I said refund it and I left.
